Saujana Golf & Country Club — Attraction in Shah Alam

Condition of the course is not what it used to be. Lack of investment shows on the golf course and the facilities. The showers are like toilets, makes one feel yucky after a shower.

The membership department is slower than slugs. Don't expect them to do anything on timely basis. Membership processing takes 6 weeks, issuing vouchers, 3 weeks, after two months and still waiting for the bag tag. They take pride in being slow and incompetent because Saujana is a "premier membership club". On the other hand, my other membership takes pride in being efficient. A table on golf terrace is permanently reserved but I haven't seen it used once in last three months. Keep increasing the monthly subscription but membership service seems to be heading opposite direction. An excellent venue for the golfing addict - it is going to be expensive for the visitor. But if you are in KL for a golfing holiday this course should be worth your visit. A championship course with modern and good facilities. Caddies should be considered for the visitor as local knowledge will help. There is a proposal withim the club management to.make caddie compulsory for visitors even if as member guest - TBC so check first. Buggies are usually restricted to the cart paths so your game could be slow. Great golf experience. Good f&b, changing rooms plus amenities and golf shop (Transview / Leonidian outlet)- occasional sales to help spend your money. I stayed in the club saujana. The entire hotel has no staff, when I dialed 0 and called the operator using their phone . I asked them where is everyone? They replied they are all at the other hotel and will be at the hotel at 6am onwards . I asked them what if there is an emergency? They said just dial 0 from the phone ?? 1 star down . The food was just terrible. 2 stars down The chef making the eggs is really unfriendly when asked to make egg 3 stars down. The room is so spooky and creepy 4 stars down So total I can rate 1 star...
