Not friendly staff. First time to go in to try to write in my blog. All sauce must get it yourself (written in English). Anyone not knowing English and poor aunties/uncles with leg pain must go all the way to get the sauce. Food not that great as described by Ho chak. What given in the menu is different what you got (when I saw menu teng chai chok with fried mee hoon on top and serving nothing. U will find a thin slice of sotong inside the porridge, peanuts not fried properly, ikan bilis on top and slice of fried fish past (soft n not fresh). I side order 5 pc of fried fish paste (I didnt finish becos not fresh and soft and asked the restaurant to try. We have tried teng chang chuk in HK and even those day Ah Chan opened in PJ, but this is only porriedge serve with peanuts, ikan bilis, green onion, fish paste and hiding inside a pc...

We went to try last wee Food is not Bad. Being our frist visit we Ordered PORRIDGE AND NOODLE and fried chicken and Reasonable price. Waited for a long time. 1 person cooking another foreigner helping in the kitchen. 3 others outside help to carry the food to tables. Small place and cheaply set up. Terribly warm. Not enough ac. 1 unit Aircon broke down imagine the whole place with 25 person inside powered by onky 2 units of 1 hp Aircon..Terribly stuffy and warm to thr point of being very Stuffy and sweaty smell. Owner happily making money and sting on fixing the place up! Wanna finsih up the food n leave If we ever wanna eat this again we d pick up. Or order...

I don't know what is the fuss about quantity. The quality is definitely there. These days one can pay RM7-9 for pan mee, and get virtually nothing, save for some miserable sliced mushrooms and a few ikan bilis.

Like it or not, raw food costs have gone up and I still feel I'm getting a bang for my buck with reasonable prices for delicious porridge and other tasty dishes. And even 'good food' is highly subjective, considering that each person will have different and varying expectations of what is good.

The place has more choices on the menu now with noodles, rice and also porridge. Most are quite good and value for money. My personal favourites are the peanut oysters porridge, fried fish paste noodle soup and the braised chicken mushroom noodles. Another reason why I like this place is their food is less oily and salty. March 2023, patronise this place again.....still the same sitting arrangement. There are many more food options now, including rice and noodles. The food still tastes good and of generous helpings with affordable prices.

A place to get some comfort foods. Parking is easy during weekend but restaurant is closed on Sunday. Teng Zai congee is good. Well balanced flavour and congee texture is not too thick or watery, just right. Mushrooms chicken Lou Su Fan is good too. Love the mouthfeel of the lou shu fan which is not too chewy. The mushroom gravy tastes great, not too salty or sweet. It's my first time here and definitely will come again for another foods on the menu

Perhaps becoming arrogant with their success. If understaffed, please hire more and get this crucial component right. This is not Kepong or Klang or some estate town, but the more elite PJ after all.
