Love the food served here. Can be a bit pricey but I'm more than happy considering the taste and the portion served.

You can order the soup or the dry noodles with char siew/siu yuk

This place is famous for their soups. The people running the place can seem a little rude at times but that's more because they're always so busy. Owners are a family of sisters and are actually very nice and friendly once there are less people.

How to order: Choose a soup base, type of noodles and ingredients to go into the soup

Soups:

1. Tom yam - my favourite but it's more like a chinese style tom yam taste - spicy, sweet and sour.
2. Yam and fu chuk - also a crowd favourite. Creamy and white.
3. Ham choi(salted vege)
4. Corn
5. Normal soup

Noodles mee, mee hoon, kuey teow

Ingredients Seafood, Pork balls, meat, etc. Just ask them what's available.

We are on our first trip to Sandakan and was told to try out this restaurant. Overjoyed that we found it we were shocked to be treated to such bad service. The lady that tookour order appeared impatient and did not bother to tellus what was on the menu. They aso dont bother to hv a menu for customers to select. If not for the blog that i read we wont know as all the menu was written in Chinese and pasted on the wall. I tried the bitterground soup fish noodle and found the fish to be moderately fresh, around a 7 out of 10. It was a bit disappointing considering the town's reputation for seafood. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the milky and flavorful soup base, which added a unique dimension to the dish.
