Kyoto Sushi Japanese Restaurant — Restaurant in Sabah

I ordered the chicken katsu rice. The rice served is not japanese rice. They are serving normal regular malaysian (?) rice.

The chicken katsu curry was too runny and tasted like maggi curry.

The mayo and chilli (?) sushi taste weird.

Finally, the payment method should at least include one cashless option. There was no Boost, credit card, debit card, Grab, online transfer, etc. They only allow cash payment. This should have been mentioned upfront (It's 2022!).

I was there to treat someone, but in the end he had to use his cash to pay instead.

Their services were nice , the food portions were satisfying & good , even my mother who doesn’t fancy it said it was good (credits)

The food prices also reasonable & worth it !!

The place is small a bit but the ambience was simple & cozy. (Simplicity is the best)

If you have member, u can get 10% of the total price. You can sign up as member by paying rm10 of fee for whole life without expiration.

Will go back for another try as I din manage to try the DONBURI menu as it was not served during...

Still tons better than Sushi King, serves really good sushi (waaaay better than Sushi King)

Serves no pork, so am surprised that this place doesn't get as many customers as Edo Ichi.

Food here is just as good as Edo Ichi. Also has a Favepay option, and offers delivery via Morefun.
