Cheap and adequate. Prime location with many eateries available. Night spot also. The owner Mr Peter is very knowledgable of the history of Sandakan. Have very good recommendations for local Sandakan food. Yes sir i did go to Agnes Keithโs house and tried the UFO tart you said. My friend and i enjoyed it very much. Did not get the chance to say thanks personally to you sir as I left earlier than planned. Anyhow, I highly recommend this place for travellers and will definitely return if I revisit Sandakan. No attached bathroom so additional rm12 to upgrade with attached bathroom. We need a bed to rest to catch early bus to sempoerna. So this was among the nearest and cheapest the nearest to bandar letat jaya. Room & bathroom were clean, a/c worked but need servicing asap. Hot shower worked but exhaust fan in bathroom broken so had strong mouldy smell. We checked in late abt 10pm and the front desk very accomodating especially peter very pleasant & informative guy....

We had a strong wifi signal in our room, the shower was hot and had good pressure. The bed was very comformtable. They also provided drinking water, coffee and tea. Sandakan central has nothing special to offer as all tourist sites are outside the city. We found the Prima Square area to be much nicer (cleaner) and with many more food options. The staff were also able to provide a drop off at the long distance bus terminal...
