DO NOT ORDER AT THE NEW HONG SEAFOOD RESTAURANT AT 38 FOOD STREET!

The waiter approached our table with a menu as soon as we sat down and asked us if we wanted to order, we took a look at the menu and it seemed reasonable. Then he pushed us to order their crab which he said was in season, as we are only 2 people at the time, we declined and he pushed and pushed us until we agreed. He promised us he would pick two small crabs and the crabs would only be as big as our palm and the price was RM26/kg, so we reluctantly agreed. However when the crabs came, it was indeed two crabs, but the crabs were bigger than our palm+fingers for each crab and the plate took up at least half of the table! We declined the crab saying that this was not what we ordered, it's too much for us to even finish and asked him to take it off our bill which came to a total of RM195 (they asked us to pay as soon as all the dishes were sent to our table) with only 1 veg, 1 pork, 1 soup and 1 crab dish. He refused saying that this is what we ordered and they already cooked it so we have to pay no matter what. After a few minutes of back and forth, we just gave up and paid and ate our food very unhappily. This is how they scam you, giving you fake promises and delivering something totally different and charging you a high price for something you didn't even want in the first place. Would never eat here again and I hope they get what's...

First time visit this place, there is variety of food to choose, sarawak laksa, kolo mee, chicken rice, etc.

I tried the bbq pork rice. Hmmm.... I actually don't really enjoy it as the rice is not very wet but lumpy & the pork meat taste nice but a bit hard for me.🙈

For my 2nd visit here, I ordered roast chicken rice from another stall. This chicken rice stall look a bit professional.

For the roasted chicken rice, I don't really like the meat as it is a little bit dried for me. By the way, i really like the rice as it is neither too wet(lumpy) nor too dried, just the right consistency, you can even easily calculate the rice one by one if you have time. hahaha~ (hope that you can understand what i am trying to convey) Can i order a plate of chicken rice without chicken, only...

0 star for the vendor , First time taken something that is awful and worse in life. Ordered Pork set, RM14 with white rice. RM14 is not a cheap amount, but what i get is something like this. Different from photo i understand, but i am like a cow ordered RM14 for all the Green vegetables?? Ridiculous… I approach the staff and ask him about this he say “memang macam ini” i ask why different from photo? The meat only gave me 3 little small slice? I paid RM14 and get 3 small slice? And then everything is “Green Vege” . I doesn’t want to make anyone not happy but please, don treat customer like this by giving such a disappointed meal that cost RM14 with only 3 slice of SMALL PORK and Throw all cabbage...
