I was at Inside Scoop on Monday around 6:30pm … yes, during their RM7 one scoop promo, which always brings in a big crowd. Even with the rush, the staff remained calm, smiling, and respectful to every customer. It’s clear they were doing their best, and I really appreciate their effort.
To Khai Malik, who left a negative review : I was actually standing behind you. You stepped out of the queue yourself, and then got upset when another customer was served. ( It wasn’t the cashier’s fault ) it was a packed time and they were handling everything as smoothly as possible. You can’t expect everything to be perfect during promo hours, especially when you don’t follow the queue properly.
The young employees at this outlet are doing an amazing job. I even noticed one of them bowing politely to greet customers. It’s rare to see such respect and dedication these days.
Inside Scoop remains one of my favourite places, not just for the delicious ice cream, but also for the genuine and kind service. Thank you to the team for working hard , you’re appreciated!

Read moreKey Issues: Poor Time Management by Staff: The two staff members should have recognized your urgency and split responsibilities. One could have assisted the couple sampling flavors, while the other focused on quick-service customers like you. Being asked to wait twice while staff were occupied was unfair.
Lack of Priority for Simple Requests: After your first order, the staff should have proactively ensured your second request was handled promptly instead of making you wait again. A simple, “I’ll help you right after this scoop!” would have shown awareness.
Awkward Resolution: The staff RAISING her voice to get help for you likely added tension to the situation, making an already stressful moment feel more uncomfortable.
How the Staff Could Improve: Acknowledge Waiting Customers: A quick, “I’ll be with you in just a moment!” shows respect for your time. Assign Roles: One staff member could handle tastings/slow decisions, while the other focuses on quick orders. -Apologize for Delays: A sincere “Sorry for the wait!” can ease...
Read moreCame in with my ice cream-craver wife. The staff was really attentive. They also let us have a little sample of all of their ice cream. We ordered a double scoop for around RM20.50. For that price, I think it's quite ok for such ice cream. Totally not your average below RM10 market ice cream.
I ordered Valrhona chocolate ice cream and the chocolaty taste is a wow factor. Really worth it. My wife ordered a nutty flavour ice cream. Not really remember the name. That one is just a so so but still delicious and have a lot of nut in it.
The environment is also really good, which is Instagrammable and has its own uniqueness. Definitely will come again for a quick bite of good quality ice cream.
There is a more affordable option out there. But to get the exact quality of ice cream, there is no other place to get except...
