Came to check out this satay place after seeing high ratings at Google.. parking was ok, haphazard but ok.. Ordered chicken, beef and lamb satays. Ordered some dishes from the restaurant too. The chicken and beef satays were ok, no pieces of fats/skin in the middle but the lamb has a big chunk of fats in the middle of the satay stick.. and it's the most expensive. Taste wise, it was quite ordinary and the satay sauces lacked the spicy punch to it. The nasi himpit (no ketupat).. was gooey and soggy.. failed.. The other dishes from the restaurant was ok. However the prawns were stale and meat a bit rotten.. such a disappointment with such superb petai sambal sauce.. the nasi goreng was ok but chicken hard and tasteless.. For me, their sate daging or beef sate is the best. I also notice there is sate kambing or goat sate which is also nice but the kambing meat is not as tender as the beef sate.
