Eddy Sate Enterprise — Restaurant in Selayang Municipal Council

Came to check out this satay place after seeing high ratings at Google.. parking was ok, haphazard but ok.. Ordered chicken, beef and lamb satays. Ordered some dishes from the restaurant too. The chicken and beef satays were ok, no pieces of fats/skin in the middle but the lamb has a big chunk of fats in the middle of the satay stick.. and it's the most expensive. Taste wise, it was quite ordinary and the satay sauces lacked the spicy punch to it. The nasi himpit (no ketupat).. was gooey and soggy.. failed.. The other dishes from the restaurant was ok. However the prawns were stale and meat a bit rotten.. such a disappointment with such superb petai sambal sauce.. the nasi goreng was ok but chicken hard and tasteless.. Sorry but just a 3 stars in...

It was a good surprise, dropped by for dinner to avoid jam and found this good satay place. Their satays are well marinated, tender & juicy. Hidden gem: The home cook Malay food stall on the right was awesome! Love their soup ekor, telur dadar, ayam goreng kunyit & sotong kerabu, I’ll be back again for another...

If you are in desa jaya/taman ehsan area and craving sate, i recommend to come here.

For me, their sate daging or beef sate is the best. I also notice there is sate kambing or goat sate which is also nice but the kambing meat is not as tender as the beef sate.
