Japanese Oysters : For my appetizer I had my dozen of oysters , was okay but it was definitely not " freshly shucked " quality . The side compliments for the oysters was unique and more than just the typical Tobasco and Lemon slices. I really liked the compliments for the oysters 👍 ( 6/10 )
Korean Style Marinated Roe Crab : This was the star of the show , the freshness of the crabs is absolutely amazing . Not a single off taste , the meat texture like jelly / pudding , melt in your mouth perfection. The marination sauce is so savoury yet not overly salty balanced well with a hint of sweetness to bring out the taste of the crab and roe . Compliment it with a side of the Nori Seaweed with some roe and crab then it's a umami bomb 💯💯. A side note : We only can order max 1 piece per table , which is the only downside . Because I don't see anyone who loves seafood that will just eat 1 crab given the insanely addicting appetizer. ( 9/10 )
Raw Marinated Tiger Prawn Marination same as the roe crab , the prawns are definitely fresh . Very sweet and great texture . The tomalley was good and it's a flavor bomb. The prawns intestines are removed and with its shell slight cut for better convenience when peeling off its shell, I appreciate the attention to detail for us customers 👌👍 ( 9/10 )
Steamed Roe Crabs Nothing can go wrong by steaming crabs as I can taste the freshness of it . Very pure tasting without any sauce and compliments , the roe crabs full of roe in every piece . Meat is sweet and full , really good ( 8.5/10 )
Chilli Crab For this fish I opted for the male meat crab , even though it's a 500g to 600g size , this crab is so damn fat and full of meat . The claws are full and every single part of the crab is filled with meat . The sauce however was abit too much for me , it was on the salty side , that all I have to say . ( 7.5/10 )
Egg Fried Rice UNCLE ROGER approves , wok hey is there . Good fried rice to end the dinner 👌👌 ( 6.5/10 )
Note : I forgot the take picture of the crabs as I was...
Read moreThis is my new favorite spot for soy marinated raw crabs in KL
After my bad experience a few weeks ago, many of you recommended trying TalkCrab instead and I’m so glad you did it’s amazing here the crab meat is juicy rich and succulent not frozen at all and bursting with sweet, salty, and umami flavors thanks to their apple and soy sauce marinade.
The seafood here is incredibly fresh the waiter told us they prepare one batch at a time and make a new batch only when theyre starting to run out to keep it as fresh as possible, so try to message them before you go to check on availability.
We got these fat fresh sweet briny Japanese Oysters Japanese Oysters (RM60) with choices of Thai chili, Chinese chili oil, and Tabasco. Usually restaurants only give tabasco with oysters, but they should provide these too theyre such a game changer adding in a layer of salty spicy against the natural sweetness of the oyster
It was so good we asked for extra thai chili to eat with their soy-marinated prawns (RM70), which elevated it even further adding in that extra kick of flavor.
For all the people looking for halal options, good news the waiter told me this spot is pork-free and alcohol-free so it fits what you’re looking for
We also had their cooked stuff - I personally do not like buttermilk anything including crab but my friend who loves it said their creamy sauce was perfectly blended with fragrant curry leaves and tasted great with the crabs
I loved their Signature Chili Crab (RM228) though cooked in their special house-made sambal paste. The dish had just the right amount of heat, perfectly complementing the sweet and savory flavor of the crab meat. So good to just dip these mantous into.
Highly, highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to try soy marinated raw crabs or just love seafood. The portions are huge and perfect...
Read moreWe had a reservation at 11:00am but arrived slightly earlier at 10:45am. Unfortunately, no chairs were prepared outside and we were told we couldn’t wait inside because the crew was still cleaning, even though it was already close to opening time. As someone who has worked in F&B before, I know the front area should be ready at least half an hour before customers arrive. Customers who show up early should be appreciated, not left standing outside in the heat.
When we were finally seated, the service team did not give us a warm welcome. Their expressions looked moody, and no one took the effort to introduce their signature or recommended dishes—especially important since none of us had dined there before. It was meant to be a birthday celebration, but instead of feeling attended to, we noticed staff distracted with their phones, while one male staff remained focused only on the counter. What made it worse was that the restaurant was not even busy—there were maybe five tables occupied—yet service still felt inattentive.
The food was good, but the service was very disappointing. For all seven of us, the poor service overshadowed the dining experience. No matter how tasty the food is, service plays an equally important role—especially when welcoming customers, giving recommendations, and checking for dietary restrictions. Sadly, this experience has convinced us...
