New discovery for me . Easily the best satay in Kepong that also serves pork satay . The meat is all meaty without the fat and marinated to juicy tenderness . The owner is 2nd generation of the first old couple that ran the stall before this .It has 47 years of history of good taste . They told me it would be very busy at night , so I went earlier at around 6pm . The soul of the satay , their satay sauce was thick and better than a lot of satay kuah Ive tasted . Owners are friendly . Plenty of parking because it is situated next to an open car park . Uf u stay in Kepong and have not try this satay , you are really missing out man !!! I ate 20 sticks there & tapao 35 sticks , 2 ketupat , total RM80 plus . Pricing ok considering the tip top quality of food served . You wont find the charred part on your meat like when you ordered from a lot of Malay satay . Definitely will go...
Read moreDidn't manage to try their Babi and Itik satay🥲 But luckily managed to order lamb and chicken satay✅ would like to highlight their lamb satay seriously delicious which my whole family like it
Lamb satay : 5/5 (right texture and amount - i believed this satay can win everywhere satay already)
Chicken satay : 2.5/5 (nothing really special which feel like eating chicken breast and abit dry, which malay satay will be nicer compared to this stall)
Satay sauce : 5/5✅ (I have to highlight their satay sauce because their satay sauce very thick, not too watery, peanut taste is there and still able to feel the peanut - one small bowl I can finish the whole sauce) ✅ Location : deep inside which is located house area kopitiam Payment : cash and e-wallet only ✅ Service : call-order and their service is good
Definitely will come back and makan their babi, itik and continue...
Read moreA Chinese satay stall operating for 48 continuous years only grills four types of meat: chicken, lamb (not mutton), pork, and duck. The uncommon duck and pork satay are the main attractions although the textures of all four meats are similar: they are not Wagyu melt-in-your-mouth tender but can be quite chewy as they have little fat.
The very tasty enjoyment is from the intense meaty and smoky flavors from the large charcoals, especially if the meats are more charred on request. The owner-cook’s “kung fu” is in his seasoning and grilling that retain the meats’ natural flavors: you can tell even if blindfolded.
It would be perfect if the coffee shop offered beers to pair with the satay, but the Thai fried rice by another stall to go with the satay was excellent. Overall, a very unique, very tasty and low-cost satay meal worth...
