Everything is good, foods are delish and even the sencha tea bag is good quality one. We really enjoyed our lunch there. We ordered 1 french fries with truffle oil, taste just okay as not much of truffle taste(perhaps can be improved). Besides, we also ordered teriyaki chicken with ginger rice and yuzu salmon spaghetti, both are quite big portion and taste really good. Well, we are quite satisfied for the yummy lunch there. Really hope to have wide variety of food and breakfast set in time to come. Today is their first day of opening, hence they took some time to deliver our orders. However, they did offer us a slice of pandan cake with gula Melaka as a gesture of apology due to long waiting time. We do appreciate their kind gesture and of course the cake is so yummy too.

Read moreVisited this cafe during Sunday. Not much crowd and cozy environment. Very helpful staff that would able to recommend their food and drinks well.
Ordered 2 main dish and a drinks. Personally would like to give a big Thumbs up to the Watermelon Peach Earl Grey Tea!
For food, the fried egg tiger prawns - served with Japanese Rice and their sauce (personal opinion - hit every single corner of my taste bud as the sauce mixed well with the rice and egg!
But for Salman Yuzu Spaghetti - served with fish stock soup (not worth the price due to the taste, as the broth is not thick but soupy type, and as a Malaysian, it is quite tasteless, would recommend the chef to make a thick sauce and heave up the yuzu taste)
Overall, a very good cafe with nice view, and instagrammable. Most importantly, it is pet friendly, and you have the owner’s golden retriever to accompany you while you...
Read moreSince the opening of this cafe I have always came back for the salmon ochazuke. All was good until the change of chef it seems. The once pickled cucumbers were kind of picked and now no longer pickled at all. The stir fried mushrooms are getting less and less attention by the chef. Simple sauté with salt and pepper. And it still doesn’t taste right. Undercooked salmon is alright, most of the times I would ask the chef to re-fire the fish it is still edible. Today I was served an undercooked fish. And when asked to cook it fully. The chef perhaps thought it easier to stick it in an oven and totally forget about it. When they had the guts to still serve the overcooked fish to me that’s where I draw the line. The fish is no longer edible. What a waste. Lyfe cafe, if you no longer care about this dish please remove it from your menu. Stop...
