Yilo Restaurant & Bar @ Gamuda Gardens Waterfront Village — Restaurant in Selayang Municipal Council

This might be a great place for drinking and hanging out with your buddies due to the old school Hong Kong vibes, but it definitely disappointed in terms of their food.

Today we ordered the Mongolian Fried Chicken, Jonathan Fried Rice and Fried Beehoon. Sadly, all were oily and distasteful. The beehoon, cabbage and onions were undercooked. The fried rice was too oily. French fries were overcooked.

We did not enjoy our dinner at all and the prices are on the higher side too.

Hope the restaurant will improve in their cooking, but I won't be back anytime...

This is the best and also my most favorite restaurant at Gamuda Gardens. Not only they serve tasty and delicious with affordable and reasonable price. They also provide the best customer service each and every time we visited there. The only room for improvement is to get more manpower as sometimes hardly to get a staff when they are so busy esp during weekend crowd. However, Yilo will be still the one that we will continuously support as they deserve to have repeated customer based on their excellent service...

I patronise Yilo in PJ frequently but the food here is below expectations comparatively. Ordered the set lunch that included the curry fish head, tofu with meat sauce n the chicken in butter sauce. All 3 were too sweet including the curry and especially the tofu IMHO. These are traditionally savoury dishes. Perhaps cut down on the sugar for both health and taste reasons. The place is nicely situated in front of the water feature of gamuda...
