Huang Yan Food Court 皇燕美食中心 — Restaurant in Sepang

Made a pit stop here for lunch whilst on our way to Sepang. It was just a random stop. Our stomachs were rumbling and we chose the next restaurant we came across. We parked in front of a nearby mosque and walked over. The place was huge. You can't really see how big the space was from the roadside especially when you are in a moving vehicle. It was also very clean and airy. Alas, we arrived a bit late and most of the stalls were closing. I chose the curry laksa and I am glad I did. It was very good and the broth is amazing. Food is good, service from food stall is amazing.

However the drinks service is totally opposite. No waitress coming to order after we are seated, until we have to go to the drink station to order the drinks ourselves.

Interestingly, we managed to witness strong conflict between the drinks workers there. 2 lady workers were arguing with each other using their native language, guess they are not locals. They are making a scene in the food court, is so embarrassing and awkward.

Message to the boss of the food court, your drinks workers really have no manners and behave uncivilised, please change these workers to provide better customer services. They are ruining your food court reputation, unless you yourself are also...

This foodcourt is located at the mainroad of Sungai Pelek and can be considered a landmark itself. On entering, notice the stall and noticed this place offered a substantial variety of food. The stall that serve Fish Ball Noodle is very good. Try their Passion Fruit drink. It is so refreshing. Asked this particular stall to cook us a Fried Crab Mee Hoon. Absolutely tasty and surprice by the price. It is only RM20 for the Fried Crab Mee Hoon! The flower crab although not large is fresh and smooth.
