Al-Rawsha Restaurant Seksyen 7 — Restaurant in Shah Alam

This place was recommended by one of my friend when i text him "bro, what is a nice place here in shah alam to get arabic cuisine?"

1st time getting here, and im impressed with the building. Going inside, lots of people but they also got many tables for you to seat.

Ordered Lamb Mandy, Chicken Kebab and Cheese Kunafa that night.

Lamb Mandy : very big portion. Looks like the portion was for 3 person. Haha. The lambs were juicy and tender. I love it! The rice a bit dry, but it comes with soup and sambal.

Chicken Kebab : nice to eat. Very soft and tender, the taste was good. But i was unable to finish it due to the Mandy's portion was so huge.

Cheese Kunafa : im not into kunafa usually. But this is my wife's review. The Kunafa was nice, but a bit milky, taste like a sweetener. But she love the cheese all over the Kunafa.

A bit bad review: the staff was not so friendly. Need to improve on this. I asked the staff to pack my lemon juice, as i need to rush for another place. One of the staff took my juice and bring it somewhere. After 5 minutes, i still didnt get my juice back. I go to the kitchen and ask one of the staff, but the staff keep on pushing me to go to another counter by saying "air order sana" and repeat it a few times eventhough i still not finish my talking.

Otherwise, the foods all good. The place was nice to bring family....

The ambience is really great especially for a family setting. It seems that the restaurant is regularly checked and well maintained.

Speaking about the food, the portion is big, however their taste are out of touch. I got arabic chicken shawarma and the chickens were burnt and hard. The garlic sauce is mediocre and nothing special about it. Fries is good.

Second menu I ordered was spaghetti bolognese and this also disappointed me. Understood if they intended the bolognese sauce to have middle east touch, but it shouldn’t deviate too far from the authentic taste of bolognese. It gave a heavy cumin taste. Next, the spaghetti itself felt like dipped in the boiled water for quite some time as it was very soft and watery (should be a bit firm texture).

12152018-Saturday Come here after watching PIALA AFF SUZUKI M'sia vs Viet (0-1). 😋 We arrived around 11pm and being informed restaurant closed at 12am. Despite being late, staff still welcome us with smile & willing to take orders and wish we can finish before 12am. Seriously, the food was tasty, service was fast, brilliant & warmth, reasonable price & parking is easy & free too. The lamb kebab is my favorite, Mango juice-I've drink like so many glasses... Hahaha... Place is nice & beautiful too. Just to remind you guys, portion is very big-we ordered lamb mandy, which the portion is actually for 3 people but there were six of us & we struggled to finish it. Hahaha.. Kudos to the staff, the restaurant almost closed but they always smile which makes the environment felt so much better.
