Complaint Regarding Rude Service on 10/5/2025

Dear Restaurant Manager Korean Man Staff Branch E-C-NE Korean BBQ and Hotpot Restaurant Setia Taipan 2

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at your restaurant on 10/5/2025.My family and I visited to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and unfortunately, our experience was negatively impacted by one of your staff members.

Due to a mistake in the location selection, we arrived at 2:40 PM instead of our intended 2:00 PM. We enjoyed our meal, including the complimentary vegetable top-up, but were surprised to learn that the restaurant closes at 3:00 PM. After finishing our food, we stayed for about 15 minutes to prepare for the birthday cake celebration.

I politely requested an additional 15 minutes to cut and enjoy the cake, but the korean man staff member in charge responded rudely, saying, u need cut cake or enjoy the cake here? I reply cut and enjoy. Ok reply to the Korean man unhappy “Next time, you should go to a 24-hour cafe.” then I reply to him we are 1st to your shop I don’t u closed on 3pm, This comment was unnecessary and ruined what was supposed to be a special moment for my sister.

While I understand the restaurant’s closing time, the dismissive and unprofessional attitude of your employee was unacceptable. I expected better hospitality, especially during a birthday celebration.

I hope you address this issue with your team to ensure future customers are treated with respect and understanding. I would appreciate a response regarding how you plan to handle this matter.

Been eating here for few times. But today i feel unpleasant as the Korean Boss is rude and telling me Ban Chan (Side Dishes) only can refill 3 times, IT IS NOT UNLIMITED!!! Then he bring the menu to me and said "If you are hungry, order more! Ban Chan only can refill 3 times.

Today we went with my parents which total 4 of us, we ordered more food, and the Ban Chan (Side dishes) everytime we asked for refill, everytime it came lesser and lesser. Of cause ill keep asking for refill. End up the boss came and sound only can refill 3 times , if you are Hungry, ORDER MORE!

My wife and me been eating there as just two of us. Sometimes the vege and other dishes we cant finish , does it means that shop should refund us back money which we didnt eat?

Money is not a problem actually, if you ask me to order more in a polite way. I will order. Or you can tell me nicely the Ban chan only can refill 3 times nicely. Not the bring the menu and drop on my table and tell me if im hungry then order more.

Maybe this is just my problem. I just wanted to do a review here. I really hope this review helps.

Lastly we paying the bill at the counter, I did ask the staff is it only can refill 3 times then the staff didn't reply and gave me a blank look. The the Korean Boss said 'YES' I replied and said I didnt know all the while as we came here for so many times. The Korean Boss said " Now you know"

I felt I owe The Korean Boss so much. I still wish him the best doing business in Malaysia. Really hope he can treat our fellow Malaysian...
