Gardenage: A Hidden Gem of Culinary Delights

My recent visit to Gardenage was a truly unique and memorable dining experience, thanks to a friend who introduced me to this hidden gem. Tucked away in a row of shoplots, it's easy to miss, especially at night when the lack of streetlights creates an almost secretive atmosphere.

However, stepping inside Gardenage is like entering a completely different world. The interior is a stunning display of flora and fauna, creating a lush and enchanting ambiance that immediately impressed me. It's a truly remarkable space.

But the real star of Gardenage is the food. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. We shared the cajun lamb pasta, clam tongarashi pasta, lamb risotto, and roasted mushroom & leek soup. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The cajun lamb pasta, in particular, was a revelation – a must-try for anyone visiting Gardenage! It was a flavor explosion that left us wanting more.

The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. The combination of exceptional food, a magical ambiance, and excellent service makes Gardenage a truly special restaurant.

Despite its hidden location, Gardenage is a culinary treasure that I highly recommend. I will definitely be returning again and again to explore more of their delicious menu and immerse myself in their unique atmosphere. It's a dining experience you won't soon forget!

My friends and I (group of 6) went there to try the food as the review was good. I ordered the clam pasta and Chocolate cake, whereas my husband ordered the Croffle chicken and long black coffee. They are good.

Unfortunately, the service is bad. Some of our order took about hour to arrive. We have to remind the staffs and lady boss 3 to 4 times before getting the remaining of our food served. The staffs and lady boss are very inattentive, and ill-mannered. I asked for water, the staffs took a brief look of annoyance and said "ah" and proceed to clean up our plates. We did not receive our water.

They quickly arrange a new set of table to combine with ours for the next group of customers without a word to us, even before out whole order was being served.

Since food arrived late, we took awhile to finish the food. My friend did not even got the dessert that she ordered, she nicely checked with the lady boss to see if the dessert is ready, else she would like to cancel. She came out awhile later and say that it was not ready, without any remorse or sounding apologetic, then proceeds to chase us out and she told us " we have another group of customers waiting to dine".

Plus, the staff are always friendly and incredibly helpful, making you feel welcome the moment you walk in. Culinary Delights The menu at Gardenange matches the ambiance. Everything we tried was tasty and thoughtfully well-presented. Their coffee is a standout, and you absolutely must save room for the desserts—the cakes are particularly fantastic. Considering the high quality of the food and the wonderful environment, the prices are very fair. It's certainly a cafe that deserves a repeat visit!
