Food : 3 star. Pretty mediocre cooking level.
Portion : 2 star. Portions were rather small and stingy. For the prices that we paid, we expected something more generous.
Ambience : 4 star. Quite an aesthetic environment and clean, with air-con temperature at its optimum.
Service : 1 star. The staffs were not attentive and totally oblivious of the customers' need.
Price : 0 star. 1 small cup of hainan coffee was nearly RM10. Prices of the food were extremely exorbitant and higher than many other cafes offering the same type of food in the same area. Moreover, there were further service charge and government tax payable on top of the listed prices.
Location : 3 star. Not accessible by public transport and could only reach the restaurant by private car. However, there were ample parking spaces outside and quite easy to find a car...

Food, horrible. Ordered a Hainan Chicken Rice that has a overnight smell. So I suspect it was either refrigerated or frozen. Because I requested chicken breast but they say don’t have. Seriously which chicken rice selling shop has no more chicken breast at 9:30am? So I suspected there’s no freshly made chicken but probably frozen ones. Nvm, lo and behold, the chicken rice came and the flesh was light brown, not the usual white colour. So it’s probably overnight. I knew it, should have just ordered toast bread. Because no one in their right mind comes here for chicken rice !
Tea was ok. Teh C kosong. So it’s pretty similar everywhere since it sugarless.
If you need a place to drink, and do your work, come here. You want chicken rice, go to a real chicken rice shop...
Read moreFirst impression from ambience to order taking was excellent. Nice decor with soothing jazz music to set the mood. But it all went downhill there after. Food is well below par. Ordered chicken Hor fan. Soup base is tasteless and hot fun is half inch wide. Instead of tau geh, it was served with raw cabbage. White steam chicken is brown instead and obviously over night and not fresh. Hokkien mee looks promising but again the soup base was a let down. It is obviously prepared using paste where it’s spicy and lack the prawn taste…will I ever return? I hope so as the ambience is nice for a gathering. But not until they improve their food. Their franchisor should assist them as it will be a shame...
