Restoran Zai Sri Gemilang — Restaurant in Shah Alam

I had my lunch today after 2:00 pm to avoid the lunch crowd. It is understood that the food will not be much left. One star is for the white rice only. A scoop of rice costs RM2.00. No star for the only dish I consumed. I had 2 small slices of stingray (ikan pari) asam pedas which ridiculously charged RM6.50 per piece thus total of my meal including drink (iced lychee tea - RM3.50) was RM18.50. I asked the cashier why I was not charged reasonably and was told the price of that dish is fixed by the manager regardless of the size. There is also no price list for the individual dish displayed as required. I contacted the manager, Puan Norhanisah to get clarification of the issue. Her answer was not to my satisfaction and unfriendly as though I would want to have a free meal. My intention of calling her was to express my dissatifaction of the price. Chai. This is a good restaurant. For a quick bite or a family dinner. I was so hungry when I went there after looking around but Found it at its domain.

They got all sorts of foods ranging from nasi Goreng ayam and other traditional Malay food. Not sure if they serve western cuisine.

Found them very close to the surau, right in front of the kids...
