Syed Bistro Seksyen 3 — Restaurant in Shah Alam

The place is very clean, tidy with many ceiling fans providing good cooling ventilation. It has good nasi kandar selection, roti canai & biryani. Nan tandoori is only available 5pm onwards. Came here for lunch & bought nasi briyani kambing (lamb biryani) with hot barley drink. Service is fast. Price is reasonable. Lamb biryani costs RM20 & barley drink RM2. The barley drink was nice. The meal that I had, the lamb meat was dry and quite hard, not moist & not soft. This is really the minus point. I was expecting soft & moist lamb meat inside the biryani rice. The biryani rice taste ok. Overall, taste is moderate. For me, the best biryani is still Biryani Power at Bukit Soga Batu...

If not for nostalgic reason since this place has been here since i was young, i wouldn't go to this place.

The place is crowded, hygiene is questionable, and food is nowhere to be impressed even if compared at mamak standard. We ordered naan cheese and what we get is just a sprinkle of cheese on top of the naan. Yes, a sprinkle, not even a full piece of cheese which you put in your sandwiches.

Services here is typical for a mamak. You can't request anything out of the standards, and if they are late, they dont even bother about your complaints. Parking at this area is...

The nasi bukhara kambing is never like it used to be. Rice is delicious but the mutton / kambing is not cook well like those years before when Syed's nasi bukhara is their signature dish. This place has been my childhood place since 2000. my mom will bought the nasi and bring home every pay day on monthly basis.

The murtabak took 30 -35 minutes to be cooked and the taste is frustrating.
