Lots of customers come here for their RM11 whole chicken but as soon as they get the volume they raised price to RM15 then shortly to RM18. A whole big size chicken is around RM15 vs their small chicken and you can easily roast with sauce, herbs or thick paste in air fryer or oven as a whole. A Baker's Cottage outlet among a pack residential area hence you do not to travel far for cakes, pastries & food. The best part of this outlet vs Secret Recipe next door is that their cake is cheaper (there's discount) and they also have offer for their food, which offer more value for money. You won't see lots of pick-to-pack pastries lined up on display as they just make enough for each to match the number of walk-ins but for packed pastries there are more choices. They also sell mooncakes here. The downside is that the staff here is not flexible, although you purchased enough Portuguese Tart to deserve a box packing they would not let you pack other pastries in and the staff serves in a sour & unsatisfied manner. I just purchase the egg tarts from here 8PM something, and went back at 9PM prepare to eat it after the second bite I feel the sour taste I think maybe is me only then I let my friend try also the the same, then I open up the whole tart and smell it, OMG is spoiled WOW is all 4 tarts I bought, it smell like rotten egg, this is the most disgusting thing I ever eat. I really don’t recommend this shop to anyone anymore I used to say this shop egg tart taste damn nice but now no more after this experienced maybe they keep the egg tart overnight and serve for the customer Yuck...

Place is very cozy and food is great. Would recommend people to eat here. There is a problem. As we were a regular customer, we recently have been disappointed in this brunch where they refused to give what we requested for. We requested for thigh or drumstick but they insisted to give what they have at the moment whereas they can cut a new piece from the chicken. Please take this in consideration. I would appreciate if you can meet customer's satisfaction by giving what we ask...
