A month ago, my family and I visited a charming pet-friendly restaurant for lunch, surrounded by adorable four-legged friends. The café is known for its exotic animals, allowing customers to touch and hold them, adding a unique and fun element to the dining experience. While I'm not much of a pet person these days, I did get to pet an alpaca (also known as a llama). My nephew and niece, on the other hand, had a blast playing with a variety of animals. Each pet had its unique personality, mingling with customers and keeping everyone entertained. Many customers come to the café for the rare opportunity to interact with these animals, which makes their dining experience with loved ones all the more special. You can even purchase food to feed the pets, making the experience more enjoyable.
As for the food, the kids loved their wafflesâsoft, delicious, and a real treat. I tried the clay pot chicken rice with salted fish, which was quite tasty, although the salted fish flavour was difficult to detect. Another recommended dish was the nasi lemak squid, which was flavorful but with an extremely spicy sambal squid. For dessert, the Alpaca cakeâa vanilla cake mixed with berriesâwas superb, though a bit on the pricey side.
The café offers a limited selection of dishes, and ordering is done through a QR code system. Unfortunately, this further restricts the available options, as some dishes are not accessible via QR code, and the staff insisted on using it for all orders. A few tea selections were listed on the physical menu but were unavailable through the QR system. To top it off, the hot chocolate I ordered was cold. While the food was generally delicious, the overall menu options were limited, and it's worth noting that the café is non-halal.
We were served by three staff membersâJeremiah, a secondary school student working part-time, Lew, a college student, and Nalini. Despite the cafĂ© being packed with customers, and the staff juggling their duties of serving food and taking care of the pets, they remained friendly and professional, always smiling. Their hard work ensured that tables were cleaned and ready for the next group of customers, and they kept the place tidy at all times. They deserve praise for their efforts and are a great asset to the cafĂ©. However, the gentleman working at the counter, likely a foreign worker from Thailand or Myanmar, struggled with English and Malay, making communication a bit challenging. It seemed that he was positioned there because most of the cafĂ©âs customers were Chinese and could converse in Mandarin or Cantonese.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, with the exotic pets being the highlight of the day. The kids had a fantastic time, and it was a fun and unique memorable Sunday lunch for the...
Read moreWas super excited to visit this cafe due to the existence of the alpaca (Snowy). The moment I entered the cafe, the alpaca itâs standing near the door which I canât wait to touch it but cafe was kinda crowded so my aim was to find a place to sit with my dog first. One thing I like about this cafe itâs I donât smell any strong urine scent in house which most other pet cafe does. Kudos to the team to maintain the cleanliness of the cafe. Each time when a customer left their table, the waitress will use a vacuum cleaner to clean around the area. Good point itâs the vacuum itâs not loud or noisy & it doesnât makes the floor wet as well. All staff is friendly there & the manager was attentive to its customer as the manager did asked my feedback of the cafe & the food. Well, I ordered an americano and I took awhile to drink as it was hot & I was busy taking photos of the ambiance. I realized that my drink has some dog fur so I just told the manager I dare not drink finish my drink & so he was kind enough to get me another cup. I donât blame the food or drinks might get caught with some pet fur as this is a friendly pet cafe anyway unless u intend to finish your food fast. Food wise was edible but not the best. Overall, I have no complaints with this cafe. Weekend definitely is loaded with family groups but itâs quite warm and a pleasant...

16/12: Jonathan have stalked my FB account and my partners (that has nothing to do with the review) to seek " justice". Dear Jonathan, learn to take heed of feedback rather than go on a stalking spree. My review said " I hope". And no mentioned of any of your food and services.
When you responded to my review. It has been acknowledge. However, until my partner asked me whether I had received the SAME message on FB.
You could have left it at this review and invited me to visit to your resto if I needed clarification. This just shows the ignorant of a business owner in the service industry. Unethical to go beyond needed. Based on this- I will not change my star rating. You deserve this rating like the bad food reviews on here. Also, have the decency to put a sign of " do not poke at the animals". Even in the zoos we do no provoke animals. If you looked at the cctv, no one was nearby for me to asked to stopped the kid. The nanny of the kid wasnt even helpful. My concern was simple and addressed it with-"i hope"and " If it was...
