Went there for dinner and ordered the fried egg, fried water spinach and pandan chicken.
First of all the fried egg was drenched in oil. I am not exaggerating and I am fully aware that fried egg is fried in oil but the egg served to us in a pool of cooking oil.
The fried water spinach was alright nothing much to complaint about.
Here comes the main part of why I am leaving this review.
The pandan chicken ( RM 28.90 ) we ordered comes in 5 pieces and 3 of out 5 had a weird and sour taste to them.
Told 2 of the waiter but they couldn't understand, I insisted for them to take a smell of the other ones that hasn't been opened but they refused and offered to replace it but we've already lost our appetite and kindly declined the replacement.
After our meal I again told the owner about the dish smelling and tasting off but she said "we haven't gotten any complaints about it" in a horrible manner.
Told them I was the one that was served the dish and had the food in my mouth so I would hope I know what I am talking about.

Read moreI had a great experience at Restoran Hatyai Thai Food Mookata BBQ! The food was delicious and full of flavor. I really loved the Tomyum soup – it was rich, spicy, and full of fresh ingredients. Every spoonful had a nice balance of sour and spicy, just like how real Thai Tomyum should taste.
The Sweet & Sour Fish was another highlight. The fish was fresh, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The sweet and sour sauce was perfect – not too sweet and not too sour. It matched so well with the fish and made every bite tasty.
The staff were friendly and the place was clean. I will definitely come back again for more Tomyum and Sweet...
Read moreThis place serves Southern Thai-style dishes. I would say it is authentic. We did not order the usual Tom Yum or steamed fish etc. We went light with Pandan Chicken, Stirred Fried Kailan, Pineapple fried rice and Pandan drink. All tasted acceptable, but maybe because it was during the CNY, all the dishes lacked the "ump" to push me to shout out yummy. Don't get me wrong; they tasted ok (we used to eat similar offerings elsewhere). But, it lacks the fragrance of the spices in their Pandan chicken and Pineapple fried rice to push it up a knot. However, I would go back to try more of...
