Actually came here back in July when we were feeling very down, but finally decided to write a review because the experience was amazing and unforgettable 🫶
Had the all you can eat meat buffet with a side of Makgeolli + sprite combo as well as tteokbbokki. Was super worth the price (total RM200+ inclusive taxes and other charges) and we refilled the meat many, many times.
The meat tasted fresh, well-marinated, and the staff were very careful not to burn or overcook it. Tteokbbokki was more on the sweet side, not so spicy and was light on our tastebuds. The makgeolli+sprite combo also unexpectedly tasted like Milkis! I remember being excited about it hahaha
And of course the most unforgettable part (besides the delicious food of course) was the service we received. We went there on a late weekday night and most customers already left, leaving us pretty much alone. Despite how close they were to closing time, the quality of service didn't drop, and there was a very kind lady (maybe owner or manager?) who kept checking on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. She was very friendly and honestly because of her + the staffs + the food, our day went from not so nice to great.

Read moreBuffet: they will give you a set of meats, 1x marinated chicken, 1x marinated pork, pork belly and pork collar. Meats are ok, they help to bbq if they are free. Water is free (Coway machine). Sides dishes are quite limited but ok, sometimes slow in replenishing. No dessert, no free ramyun or instant noodle.
Price: reasonable
Atmosphere: super warm, non ac, only fan with the super charcoal and without exhaust system, the entire hair and T shirt is gone !! Do not go there if you intent to stop by someplace else after dining. I can feel my arms and legs are oily when I enter the car.
Comparison: there is one buffet & Ala carte Korean bbq (owner Korean) at Bandar Puteri is nicer, ac, exhaust system and similar pricing as we.
Menu: I have not tried their Ala carte but I don’t think I want to smell smoky even without eating bbq 😜
Owner service is top notch. The lady owner is so hardworking, I saw her running left right front and back...
Read moreWe have been a fan of the Solaris outlet. So, we thought of trying out the new branch in Seri Kembangan. The place is more ventilated and bigger. There is ample of parking. The samgyeopsal (porkbelly) is thick and juicy. Quite different from other outlets which serve thin slices. The bosses here are a bit generous with the portion.
My favourite dishes by far in this restaurant is the seafood pancake, the BBQ samgyeopsal, and the newly introduced Korean fried chicken. The place can get a bit smoky during the weekend and during peak hours. Other than that, since it is a corner outlet, the smell and smoke clears up very fast. The place is also ventilated with a lot of fans.
To me a red flag is a Korean restaurant operating without a Korean owner or at least a Korean supervisor. Here you will always find the lady boss, or her cousin (also the boss) or her aunt managing the food and operation of the outlet. Basically, a must try for...
