It was a good experience overall, the service was nice and the food was satisfactory. But the seafood shellout was tasty and has been a family favorite for quite awhile now. But the decor can be revamp and modernize as it's an indoor kopitiam vibe but with window walls surrounding it, but there were several outdoor tables for those who want hangout outside.

The upside is that it's located strategically next to the Putra Heights LRT station, and in the same row as other stores such as Domino's Pizza, Pizza Hut and 7/11. But the downside are the availability of parking spots as it's better to drop off your passengers first, then fine a parking spot so you can secure the table faster. It can be bustling as it's located in the middle of Putra Heights Commercial Center.

Would I repeat my visit? Yes.

The place is air-conditioned and place is not too crowded. We had Nasi Ambang Johor Ayam Percik, and Nasi Ambang Johor Kambing.

The taste of the Percik is ok but nothing special. The mutton is definitely poorly prepared with not much meat on. Half of it is tendon and bone. The ayam is ok. The Nasi Ambang is slightly disappointing. I remember the dish being highly flavorful. Even with the dried salted fish and Tempe, the taste is so so.

The price was ok I guess. RM10 for the Nasi Ambang Ayam and RM15 for the Kambing. Hard for me to say it is overpriced because portion is not too bad, but the Kambing with more bones and tendon does feel overpriced.

I was utterly disappointed with the shop. I came with a very high hopes to introduce my colleagues to eat mee bandung muar however, we noticed today the shop was closed even in google mentioned open from 7AM to 10PM.

My dear friends, if wanna go to this shop, please try to call first before going else became like us just now.

Looking forward to eat a real mee bandung muar again. Maybe in Kota Kemuning shop. Its has been so long since last eat kacang pool as well.
