Highly recommended! Please do try its nasi dagang and ikan tongkol gravy. It was to die for! The gravy was thick and tasty; paired that with the nasi dagang - yummssss! If you are in Chukai, don't go to Hai Peng Kopitiam unless you have all the time in the world and you are patient like a saint.

The shop deco is nice.. classic but the service is super slow. While waiting for our orders, we ate fried noodles already packed in plastic wrap. We finished our noodle, sat for another 15 mins... still no sign of our drinks and toasts. The tables nearby were not cleared for sitting. NOT A GOOD WAY TO OPERATE A COFFEE SHOP. Shop name were changed to Chukai Kopitiam from Hai Peng.

The cleanliness issue still bad. Table, chair and floor quite dirty as no one clean up.

A lot of food in the menu were not available.
