Nice shady road side curry fish noodle eating house in a friendly town. The usual customers have a close bond with the owners. It isn't strange to see them helping out while waiting for their own curry fish noodles.
On their own it's just very bland watery curry noodles, steamed fresh fish and a side of fish crackers. Combine them together, its perfect! These people know what there are doing, each ingredient not overpower each other. The sambal is delicious. A taste for everything and everything in it's taste.
Better come early, this place gets packed fast with people waiting for empty tables. A lone diner? Just share a table. It's not uncommon for 3 different customers...

It’s like a milder version of prawn mee (kl) / hokkien mee (penang). Clear broth with noodles, water spinach (kangkong) and a dollop of their home made sambal to which u stir everything up before eating. Then it’s served with steamed fresh kembung (Indian mackerel) and the same sambal to go on the side. Noodles were pretty normal but I thoroughly enjoyed the fish with the sambal! The fresh steam fish and the keropok ikan here is very fresh and delicous and it pairs perfectly with a bowl of their fish noodle soup which taste a bit like prawn mee but it's made out of fish instead of prawn head.
