I made my original booking through Agoda — fully paid and confirmed. But to my shock, just two hours before arrival, I received an email saying the reservation had been cancelled without any clear reason. Agoda promised a refund of RM107, but the damage was done — it was a public holiday weekend, and finding another hotel last minute was not easy.

I immediately contacted the hotel directly. The receptionist was incredibly helpful — listened to my situation, and assisted me to make a new booking. Unfortunately, the only room available at the time had a single bed (which I hate 😒). Thankfully, he called me back shortly after and offered a king bed room as another guest had just checked out early. Crisis averted! Big thanks to him for going the extra mile!

However, I did have to pay an additional RM124 for the new booking — so I ended up paying more overall because of the cancellation by Agoda. That part was quite disappointing.

Now, onto the hotel itself — small but superb. Clean, cosy, and surprisingly equipped with 5-star facilities. One of the fastest check-ins and check-outs I've ever experienced. Smooth and efficient.

Agoda: Please look into sudden cancellations like this — especially during peak seasons.

Hotel front desk team: Excellent customer service, truly appreciated 👏 Would love to stay here again — but I might just book...

I can say this is the best hotel in Chukai, Kemaman after frequently travel here for the past ten years (work)..(stayed for 2 nights-ground floor room 105 but no window)..the water pressure was really good for hot shower..every room equipped with generous drinking water(hot and cold)..lcd tv with good channels..ample of electric sockets..bedsheets and pillow are clean and very2 comfy(very hard to find like these especially in Kemaman)..lots of free parking space and they will provide free day parking coupons for you..decent interior id..lots of eateries nearby (Nasi Kandar Utara (2 mins walk), Talib Tomyam (5-10 mins walk and they serve some fresh seafood menu), 2 burger stalls (5 mins walk), self service laundry bar (2 mins walk) and 7 eleven (5 mins walk)

Really hope the internet could do well when the hotel is full house..there is no cafe in the hotel but there are plenties within few hundred meters from the hotel

This is the highly recommended hotel when you have chance to drop by Kemaman:- Cleanliness- Very good Room - cozy and provided RO water tank with hot and Room temperature water .You do not need to buy extra bottle water .Mini fridge is available. You can also ordered their breakfast which is a great opportunity to try local food . Staff - friendly Owner - very friendly and always ensure guest has comfortable stay . He knew lots local good food and attractions .He is willing to help you with all this information to ensure you definitely enjoy this place . 5.Parking - available infront of hotel .Worry free as the staff will help you to put the parking coupon in the morning.

Tips - you may join their local tour to sea turtle watching . It was really amazing experience. ( based on season )

Good location - 7 eleven and restaurants ...
