Hotel Fulhoi — Restaurant in Malé Atoll

During our stay on Gulhi Island, we discovered Fulhoi Restaurant, and it quickly became our go-to dining spot. Despite often being quite empty (which might raise doubts for some), this place is a true hidden gem that deserves more attention.

The food is absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and great flavors, all at very reasonable prices. Every dish we tried was well-prepared and exceeded our expectations. What truly sets Fulhoi apart, however, is its impeccable service.

The restaurant team is incredibly attentive, providing a level of service that rivals high-end restaurants. Special mention goes to Khan, who served us multiple times and made sure we always had everything we needed. The staff discreetly checked in on us often, ensuring we were satisfied without being intrusive. One standout detail is that they offer complimentary cold water and refill it the moment your glass is empty - a small but thoughtful touch that enhances the experience.

Nothing good at all , restaurant is exactly next to mosque and prayer was so loud , I couldn't talk to my wife , staff deepa has lied when we ordered that prayer will finish in 5 minutes. And after we ordered the prayer finished in 5 minutes but then started again non stop after 5 minutes , the staff said I told you the first prayer will finish after 5 minutes but this is a new one !!!! Tried to cancel the order before starting to cook but they said you have to pay for the food even they didnt start to cook . Had to stay one hour eating with very loud prayer .

Talking about the food , staff said very fresh fish and prawns , what we got is piece of s...t not fresh at all and same for the prawns.

Drinks orange is all water not fresh at all and papaya is the same.

I really don't know how they have good ratings from others , I never complaint on food or restaurant but this one was not bearable at all .

Forget to say it was really expensive , Ayala hotel restaurant is more elegant and food way better and prices were less...

This is our favourite little restaurant on Gulhi Island! We have been going everyday of our 8 day holiday. We have tried the other places but we just keep coming back to Fulhoi. Why?? Because of the amazing service, yummy food and lovely rooftop (especially at sunset). The meals are delicious! Try the fish curry with papadums. I’ve had it so many times it’s almost embarrassing- haha! The waiter who serves us is so polite, kind and professional. He works 7 days a week, 12 hour days, running up and down those stairs, and still maintains his friendliness, manners and professionalism!! He’s an absolute champion. He went over and above each time to provide us with extra (free!) papadums and free dessert! These are the lovely little touches that bring customers back again and again. This restaurant is so underrated. We just love it- it’s affordable, meals are on time and the staff are great. I recommend this place for sure! Can’t wait for our...
