La Vista Café & Bistro is such a hidden gem in the Maldives! The place has a modern yet cozy vibe, with stunning views that make it perfect for a relaxed meal. Their menu is a great mix of local and international dishes — I tried the seafood pasta and it was packed with flavor, while my friend enjoyed a fresh tuna steak that was cooked perfectly. The coffee here is also excellent, rich and aromatic, which makes it a great spot for breakfast or a late afternoon break. We have spent 2 weeks in Gulhi. Only once we decided to go somewhere else for dinner, then we had get back to La Vista because of excellent food, nice presentation of meal and good staff. Especially Mrs Tharaka and Mr "Cook" (we don't know his name). We did like prices also. Whoever is expecting crazy fast western speeding style and real italian taste probably didn't understand island lifestyle and should stay at home. Some meals were tasty and some definitely not. Many items from the menu were unavailable and the waiter informed about the lack of, for example, one of the juices after serving the main course. The worst thing happened when I left my glasses on the table for a while and the waiter just took them and kept them for himself.
