Malaafaiy restaurant — Restaurant in Malé Atoll

Located in Sun Siyam Olhuveli, Maldives. It is one of their many restaurants where meals are served depending upon which type of room one has booked. This particular restaurant is located on beach and a large variety of items are served. Preparation is normal as one could find any such place. Varieties are also okay and maximum of them remain same for many days ( unfortunately I could not find change in 90% items during my stay there). In general weather was humid and all tables do not even have fan directly over them, leave apart coolers ( no AC as it is an open restaurant) and one keep on sweating while taking breakfast. I used to really love Olhuvelli as a whole. But they have changed so many things this year which is made it less enjoyable. We are a group of 9. 1st they wanted to split our group into 2 restaurants for lunch (restaurants located at the opposite ends of the resort). We somehow worked out to be in one resto. But they didn’t want to sit us in one table. They said they cannot rearrange the seats (when there is like a long table for a group of 8). All tables and chairs are moveable but they said “no”.
