Avoid. I am not sure how anyone thought this was a good place. First of all their customer service is subpar. I wanted to watch the sunset and I noticed that their balcony has an okay view so I decided to have dinner and watch the sun go down. There was only one other table seated at the time. I was given the menu and their local dishes with tuna are made from CANNED TUNA! Why would they use canned tuna when those islands are famous for catching tuna? I had been traveling for over a month and decided I wanted a little taste of home since the "local" food was canned, so I ordered chicken sandwich with fries. I made my order within five minutes of arriving and it took another hour and twenty seven minutes (just happened to look at the clock when I came in) before my food came out. I was alone, so it wasn't a big order. The other table had received their food, ate, paid, and left long before I got my food. When other tables that came in 45 minutes after I arrived started getting their food I finally asked him where mine was. I was told five more minutes. When the sandwich came out the fries were ice cold (like they had been sitting out for over an hour) and the chicken sandwich was some blended up meat that was previously frozen. Gross. I was very hungry by that point so I ate a bit and then asked for my bill. When it came out it the price was listed in both in USD and Maldivian rufiya, even though the menu I was given only listed USD. Their conversion to USD from MR was wrong, and the USD price (with tax) didn't add up to the menu price. They were overcharging me in a couple of ways, but whatever. I didn't have exact change so I gave the server a little more than a $1over what the bill was. He came back and told me it wasn't enough and I needed to give him more money. I took out my online converter and my calculator and showed him that not only did I give him more money than the bill (so I should have been getting change), but they overcharged me as it was (yes, I included all the taxes). He just kept insisting I give him more money. After the long wait, poor service, and terrible meal, I wasn't about to give more money. Finally he gave up and walked away and I left. I did quite a bit of island hopping and this island was hands down the greediest, sleazy, and dirty place that I had been to in the Maldives. This restaurant fit in...

During my recent visit to the Maldives, I had the pleasure of dining at Lemon Drop. While there were a few things I enjoyed about my visit, there were also some drawbacks that I noticed.

On the positive side, the ice cream with fried bananas (Banana Fritta) was truly amazing. It was definitely the highlight of my meal at Lemon Drop. However, there were also some downsides to my visit. The sandwiches were decent, but not exceptional. Additionally, there were a lot of items on the menu that could not be made for some reason, which was a bit disappointing.

Another drawback was that the restaurant did not accept Visa or Mastercard, which was inconvenient. Finally, there were a lot of mosquitoes in the area, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the meal.

Overall, while the Banana Fritta was amazing, the other aspects of the dining experience at Lemon Drop were somewhat disappointing. The decent sandwiches, unavailability of menu items, lack of credit card payment options, and the mosquito problem make it difficult for me to fully recommend...

I have visited Rasdu island twice and during the first visit found out that Lemon drop is the best place to eat here. I had really unpleasant experience with other places, because for me food quality is really important.

Here I had hamburger, Chinese prawns, Tom yam soup, thai red curry (staff helped to arrange it with prawns and medium spicy), fish fingers, devilled prawns (but I don't like this red sauce) and seafood salad.

Remember that fishburger, fish fingers are made of tuna, so not everyone likes tuna. Seafood salad I didn't like because of the mussels and dressing, maybe they can try to change it. Rest of the food was really good. Both of waiters from Bangladesh were very sweet and helpful.

Place is clean and good looking, during the season time it's full but food served are...

We had lunch and dinner here during our 4 day stay in Rasdhoo. Normally took a table on the higher open air terrace. Nice to be seated there feeling the breeze, under the shadow, overlooking the street and admiring the local vegetation. Food is specially good. We tried a bit of everything. I recommend daily catch seafood, including tuna and shrimps. Also the fish hamburger. And the made to order natural fruit juices. We had some menu restrictions because of allergies and the restaurant was happy to help us with it. We would like to thank especially the maitre that attended us most days. He represented well the restaurant going the extra mile and more to help us and make every experience at the place a memorable one. Thank you very much. We are very sorry we did not have the opportunity to say goodbye.

Kind staff and a beautiful restaurant to sit at with friends and family. Food is hit or miss- the chicken rice, spaghetti bolognese (minus the American cheese slice?), and grilled reef fish were delicious, but the Cesar salad was so tiny it was a snack, and the same can be said for the banana fritters. The prices were pretty expensive, we ended up finding cheaper places that were also good on the island. The grilled reef fish was worth it though, we’d recommend that. Smoothies are good but also expensive. My partner loved the coffee banana smoothie. Attaching images of what the salad menu image was, and what I got. We would go back for the fish and a few other dishes.
