Cafe Rouge — Restaurant in Cospicua

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! Especially if you are a woman! Let me tell you why... I walk in by myself and ask if I can sit anywhere or I have to wait to be seated,then a man tells me I can go wait for him outside,that his table is right there and he will join me really soon , saying this in a sexual way and looks at me up and down. I say no thank you and I walk outside and sit at a table around the corner. He than follows me to the table and offers me a drink and asks me my name. I politely refuse and brush off all his comments. Shortly after my boyfriend arrives,I don't tell him about this but I ask him to move inside so I can charge my laptop. The whole time I was there ,this man(picture attached) and his group of friends kept on looking over from the table outside,making sounds , raising their glasses of beer and looking at me ,making fun. What was infuriating was that they weren't only bothering me,but also the other customers and the employees said nothing about this. At times they were even joking together. This made me think that they were either regulars there , employees or the owners. Whatever it was it is absolutely unacceptable!!! And I will not let this go! I will report this to customer service of Malta. DO NOT GO THERE! You will feel unsafe and bullied! The food was the only thing...

We went here for dinner, ordered seafood pasta and stuffed chicken breasts. We had to wait 45-50min for the food to arrive after getting our drinks meanwhile people who came after us already got their food served. The pasta was low quality and the sea food tasted pretty terribly, undersalted and oversaturated with some herbs. While the chicken breasts were pretty good, the amount of mashed potatoes that came with them was underwhelming, only enough to eat one of the breasts with potatoes. I wouldnt say anything if it was a cheap restaurant but its not, its 20+€ per person. The staff is also not too kind and the waitress serving us seemed like she doesnt really care about the customers and just wanted to go home. I wouldnt return to...

Extensive menu for food and drinks; pizza, pasta, burgers. Lots of cocktails, beers, coffee, spirits. A little overpriced for what it was but the venue is in a tourist hot spot. Quality of food was pretty average boring run of the mill standard cafe - we had ordered the cheese pizza, but the base and crusts were very crunchy, almost burnt and taste of nothingness.. no seasoning, just a bland cheese pizza. We ended up leaving it behind. We had to ask a couple of times for the bill which meant we wee sat at the table for well over 10mins just waiting to pay and leave, despite waiters walking passed us. The place was always packed all day so perhaps is popular but I would say to avoid and go elsewhere. Seems hit or miss looking...
