Always have had a wonderful experience at Ta’ Celite! Me and my boyfriend have been going here for more than a year. We are always greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The owner ( and the other staff) is incredibly welcoming and truly makes you feel like part of the family, you can tell how much love and care goes into everything they do. The place is always very clean , the bathrooms and tables get cleaned after every customer !
The food is always absolutely delicious , fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish had that perfect homemade touch, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. They are never greedy with alcohol 😅. And free starters , it’s either bruschetta or sometimes fries! I love there bruschetta so much, probably the best one I have ever eaten! Whether you’re a local or visiting Malta, this place is a must try if you’re looking for authentic food served with heart. This place truly feels so welcoming, I’ll keep coming here every opportunity I can ! This doesn’t stand next to any Michelin star restaurants or fancy places I’ve been to,this way better, and is truly my favorite...
Read moreThe location could not have been better, right in front of one of the most beautiful churches in Malta, its golden stone glowing in the evening light.
The food was excellent. The tuna steak was incredibly fresh, 450 grams for just €25, and cooked perfectly. The horse steak came in a portion so generous it was hard to finish. It was outside my comfort zone to try, but I am glad I did because the flavour was rich and surprisingly enjoyable.
The real highlight, though, was the service. Ramon made the evening feel relaxed and welcoming from start to finish. There was never any rush, and when a drink came a bit too sweet, it was replaced quickly and generously. He gave helpful, honest advice, knew the menu inside out, and made it clear what was and was not possible.
Even if I had not enjoyed the meal, I would still return to try something else, simply because of the way I was treated. This was a lovely night out, and I am grateful to Ramon for making it such an...
Read moreWhile cruising around in Malta on Scooters and enjoying the sightseeing on our own pace. By the way, highly suggest the scooter tripping in Malta! So, we ended up being hungry looking the beautiful Parish Church of Mgarr and noticed some tables over the road at „Ta Celita“ and when we were walking to it, someone was already standing on the door like waiting for us. Instantly started talking to us and asking questions about us and our trip. It really made us welcome. Restaurant looked nice and so was the weather. The menu was distinct from what we have had so far and everything in there was worth to try. They offered rabbit and horse meat and of course seafood pasta and risotto – it was all daringly good! My rabbit and horse cousine was exceptional and my wife said her risotto was worth the whole trip! Highly recommend the place! PS! Did not managed to take any pictures from the place, because we only had eyes for...
