Bukkun — Restaurant in Mosta

We had just done a long hike along victoria lines and was walking through Mosta to catch bus to Valetta when we found this little gem.

The food was delicious, I had the Salmon and ricotta ravioli and my friend the homemade Angus beef burger. I also asked for some garlic bread to go with it, this was no problem, and the garlic bread happened to be amazing! Easy the best meal we've had in Malta. The lady who served us was lovely and was very accommodating, she was also the chef so compliments to her fantastic work.

Highly recommend this place if you want some great food in a nice quiet street in Malta with brilliant service. You won't be...

Mi dispiace fare recensioni negative, ma in questo caso non posso fare diversamente. Ho messo una sola stella xchè non si può dare meno.....Siamo sfortunatamente capitati in questo posto , fidandoci di recensioni positive, dove ci è stato detto che avremmo dovuto attendere mezz'ora prima di mangiare. Abbiamo accettato in previsione di poter gustare dei buoni piatti maltesi....risultato: 2 ore di attesa inframezzati da nostre richieste di spiegazioni sul ritardo a cui la proprietaria rispondeva borbottando che non avevamo prenotato, che aveva 13 persone da servire,ecc, ecc.... senza mai chiedere scusa o dimostrarsi dispiaciuta!!! Ci siamo anche alzati chiedendo di farci il conto di acqua e vino e quel poco di antipasti che erano nel frattempo arrivati, tra l'altro non a tutti, ma lei ci ha pregato di restare xché avremmo avuto tutto il resto in 5 minuti...Devo dire che poi i piatti sono arrivati ma come ??? Pesce cotto male, bruschette molli immangiabili con sopra accozzaglia di verdure/formaggio, pollo che navigava in brodaglia di funghi, piatto maltese (tipico??) con carciofi sott 'olio, olive, 2 caprini e qualche salsiccia....2 ore x ricevere questo!!!!!!! Alla fine la proprietaria ci ha detto che credeva di fare tutto in mezz'ora, ma almeno poteva a un certo punto venire a scusarsi e dirci che l'attesa si sarebbe prolungata di un bel pò... In conclusione, dopo questa pessima esperienza, posso consigliare di andare a mangiare qui solo se avete voglia di buttare i...

Late on the review but went to Malta in may … found the vegan night on Facebook and me and my friend loved it ! Very authentic restaurant lovely owner and chef that is soo Accommodating !
