This is a really nice restaurant, quite small but very cosy, run by a real Maltese guy John and his family. His son Chris runs the kitchen. We came in a half hour before opening, but still we were welcome to choose a table and have a drink before we ordered. We wanted an traditional dish, so he recommended some. As we were waiting for our order his charming wife brought us some Maltese bread and later a small dish of cow stomach for us to try, that was surprisingly tasteful. Our main courses, carpaccio and horsemeat stew were very good. Also the desserts, chocolate (warm) fondant and warm apple-pie, both with icesream were lovely. Finally we were offered a small lemon-tasty liquor to top it off. In all we felt very welcome and left with a full belly for a more than reasonable price! I highly recommend...

Traditional Maltese food, yes. Authentic interior, yes. Must go when in Mosta, yes!

We received some nibbles: crackers with bigila and maltese bread with tomato paste and white beans.

We ordered as starters the calamari fritti and rabbit spring rolls. Both dishes are homemade and fingerlicking good.

The kids had a small portion of pasta bolognese and ricotta ravioli. Both dishes were pure and full of taste. We had the grilles octopus and the fish & chips. So many flavours in one dish. The fish & chips was plenty, we took a piece with us home.

To finish it off we ordered a small cup of lime sorbet, perfect for digestion.

I recommend everybody this restaurant. Quiet environment where locals eat. Out of the centre of Mosta (2...

The portions were generous, offering great value for the price. The ambiance of the bar was exceptionally relaxing and cozy, which we absolutely adored. Additionally, the staff left a lasting impression with their friendliness, kindness, and warm hospitality. To sum it up, I highly recommend this restaurant for an unforgettable...

What an amazing culinary experience! These are the places where you really feel home. Great service and amazing food! We ordered appetizers and main courses: the tripe was excellent and well prepared!! The prawns wrapped in potato strings were delicious! The fish and chips was very good and the ravioli with ricotta as well! Thanks to the staff, waiter owner and chef who made our lunch a real local experience with attention and quality. Super recommended!
