Disgusting Food, Rotten Beef & Worst Service Ever!

I can’t believe what happened tonight. I’ve been a loyal customer for so long, ordering from this place every weekend through Wolt or Bolt, and even bringing friends and business meetings here. I supported this restaurant every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. But tonight changed everything.

I decided to dine in this evening , and it was a total nightmare. We ordered Rigatoni Beef Ragu – and the beef was ROTTEN. The smell was so bad it made me sick, like rotten eggs. How can a restaurant even serve something like that? We couldn’t eat a single bite, and still, we were charged the full price!

As if that wasn’t enough, we asked for pizza, and the staff told us the pizza kitchen was closed at 8:30 PM. Fine, we accepted that. But then the table right next to us sat down after us and ordered pizza without any problem! Lies and zero respect for customers.

The service? HORRIBLE. When we went to pay, the waiter and the cashier started screaming at each other in their language, throwing things on the payment counter. We had to just stand there and wait while they fought. Completely unprofessional and embarrassing.

I had an oriental-style salad and craft beer and tasted the panuzzi. The food was very tasty, nicely presented and promptly served. Prices were reasonable, and the place was not pretending to be something it wasn't. It's a decent international food franchise with decent food. I appreciate the great variety on the menu, the creativity of some options (I had a hard time deciding and felt spoilt for choice...) and the "less fatty" or "less sugary" options ("Vida" sections of the menu) though not always "healthy" or "low calorie" from a nutritional standpoint).

The only complaint I have is regarding the abuse of the adjective "Cuban" which is bandied about as a rebel-teen-trendy brand, as though they were selling Che Guevara T-shirts. North and Central Mexican food is not "Cuban". Maybe the franchise owners should look up the difference between "arroz a la cubana" (which is mostly a Spanish and Filipino dish), "arroz con frijoles" and "arroz...

I had dinner at this restaurant with my family, and I must say the service was exceptional. I have severe allergies to dairy and fish, and I am also vegan, which often makes it difficult to find something I can eat when dining out. When I looked at the menu, I initially felt like there were no options for me, and I was extremely hungry and frustrated.

However, Maria the waitress did not give up on me. She stayed by my side, patiently helping me find a suitable meal instead of just moving on or ignoring my concerns. She suggested their lentil salad, which turned out to be a perfect choice. Thanks to her, I was able to enjoy a delicious dinner.

Later she came back to check on me to make sure everything was okay. I truly appreciated the effort and attention. A professional service she gave us, It made all the difference! Excellent service—I left satisfied...
