Zen Sushi to Go - Pama — Restaurant in Mosta

The sushi is good if you are comparing it to Malta standards. Not all the rolls, but maybe 2-3. Sumo and Calypso are the best imo. They are pretty stingy with their ingredients however given the price. I was a regular customer until i placed an order on their app for pickup and wanted to pay cash on delivery (because their silly app doesn't save CC details and i was in the hospital bed and couldn't go find my CC). They charged my husband extra for a 'substitution' from a more expensive ingredient (salmon) to avocado. Mind you, i told them i am pregnant and this was a mere substitution not an addition for health (listeria) reasons. Pregnant people cannot eat raw fish and I've tried all their other rolls and didn't like them. They should be happy i saved them salmon and only asked for avocado! It's not about the 1.75 euros they charged me extra on my order for 3 thinly sliced avocados on top of my roll, it's about the customer service. My order on the app was different than what they charged him. I would rather support other restaurants after this kind of service. Most restaurants after finding out i am ordering from mater dei sent a free cookie or sweet, or at least wrote get well on the order which i appreciated. I also emailed them about this dissapointing service and no response. Seems like they don't care, and neither do I :) They should know Malta's gastronomy scene is expanding and being stingy and greedy on regular customers orders will just make them lose loyal clients. Too bad zen, for 1.75 euro greed on your behalf you lost a good customer. There are way too many great restaurants out there who care about their customers for me to support during Covid....

Extremely disappointed with Zen Pama and Kamana who was the cashier. Ordered food which I went to pick up since I had a voucher.

1. They missed one item which I ordered via phone.
2. They didn't want to accept my voucher since it didn't have any details with regards to name etc, which I believe they should fill in the first place
3. When I got my order felt that something is missing, but they assured there are everything. When I got to car, I checked the box again and was sure that something is missing.
4. Went back to the shop, but they were assuring me twice that there are everything that I ordered. Luckily I found the receipt and then they believed me and admitted that they made a mistake.

Yesterday we went to Zen in Pama and the experience was wonderful even though the place was super busy. The operations manager was coordinating everything diligently and although they had a lot of orders everyone was working synchronised like an orchestra. A big thank you to the operations manager and the staff that took time to ask us what we wanted as our son is coeliac. They made sure that all his food was gluten free and checked if everything was ok. I highly recommend this place especially to those who like sushi and they need to get the best gluten...
