Dwejra in Gozo is an amazing place, boasting The Inland Sea, The Fungus Rock, The Blue Hole, which is a divers paradise, Crocodile Rock and it also had the Azure window, until recently, a very big natural rock arch, which featured in many films, like Game Of Thrones and Clash of The Titans, to name a couple. This is where this lovely, romantic and picturesque restaurant got its name!! Overlooking the Inland Sea, the restaurant boasts very romantic settings. We were given a complimentary large plate of typical Maltese nibbles before our meal, which included bruschetta bread slices, olives, dry biscuits, humus dip, sun dried tomatoes, to name but a few! The food is abundant, the menu is vast, boasting many fresh fish caught round the area daily, the staff is extremely friendly, kind and attentive. We had salmon steak, sea bass, called Spnotta in Maltese and octopus stew with grilled to perfection heaven, squid!!! The salads, grilled vegetables, roast potatoes and chips were large portions and very varied as well! The prices are also very reasonable here. We were also given a complimentary drink before we left, well past 11pm, leaving the restaurant in pitch dark where in the parking area the stars above were amazing to see and so fitting for the end of our beautiful day in Gozo!!!

A nice gem near Azure Window, Dwejra Certainly one of the things sometimes in Gozo, it is a bit hard to find that good restaurant, actually personally I like a top-notch one's and this time, was a very well selection indeed. It is not just the food that is very well made, with a taste that you feel like to order more, but as well the service it is super good. As a couple, we were well served in every aspect! The person, I believe as Manager, has helped us so much while doing decisions! This was in terms of selections of food & wine, the wine suggested to us was top-notch, with affordable prices. I do certainly recommend everyone, to give it a try while you travel to gozo. As well the place known as "Dwejra" it is a must visit when you go to Gozo, as it is an attraction as well! I would like to thank the amazing team behind Azure Window, Dwejra, for the great quality of service, recommendations & food was given to us. Best regards @adventure.redmt

Beautiful setting for a lovely restaurant with great food and service. It's the only restaurant by the azure window and inland sea. We had a bit of a wait for tables and it seems the best tables were booked up by possibly a tour group. The interior is light spacious and airy being open on two sides. The views of the inland sea are lovely. Food was delicious, full of flavour and generous portions. Priced just a little higher than other restaurants but you get beautiful setting and food. Service was great from the senior staff but patchy from the juniors. However this was compensated for by complimentary bruschetta and nice chat from the manager. An afternoon visit to this restaurant is a great accompaniment to a sunset by the azure window.

A great break during a long day. We took the hop on - hop off bus from Valletta to Gozo, and although the time spent at lunch cut into our sightseeing it was well worth the stop. We enjoyed an absolutely wonderful lunch of sea bass, large prawns, and their house wine and I enjoyed every minute of it. The service was friendly and we had a great view. What more could I ask for other than a private driver rather than having to get back onto the bus. My only negative would be the line for the restroom. I enjoyed my relaxing time there.

Had an absolutely fantastic meal here this evening - we had the bronze bream as the catch of the day which was such a beautiful fish, caught fresh from the sea today. We also shared a wonderful octopus spaghetti dish and a Gozo style platter which we struggled to finish (portion sizes are generous so arrive hungry!). Our meal went down really well with a bottle of Maltese sparkling wine and a bottle of Gozo produced white - delicious! Fabulous service and really lovely polite staff (and thank you for the lift back to our hotel!)
