Vago — Restaurant in Swieqi

We attended a funeral in the nearby church. Afterwards we were 5 close friends wanting to catch up and have a cappuccino together. We had coffees and tea with many of us having flavoured croissants. Everything was delicious. We paid, everything was reasonably priced. We left and as we were walking decided to have lunch together as it was close to 12.30. As we were impressed by the delicious food excellent service provided we decided to go back to Vago and have lunch there as well. We only had snacks which consisted of Bagels with smoked salmon and ciabattas with chicken and mine with bacon and sausages. The owner was very nice as he allowed us to have items which have a time frame which should be until 12.00. All good fresh and delicious. In pictures, you might see it looks nice cafe but it wasn’t.... In this restaurant, there were some flies while we were having a lunch. That was very awful and uncomfortable to stay there. And the bread which I ordered was too hard to eat, I could have it but not so tasty. They should keep everything clean and improve their dishes.... If I go to a restaurant in Malta, I won’t choose this Vogo restaurant cafe. Because I have lots of choice to go in Malta! I don’t waste spending my money on this kind of restaurant. Honestly, some of the most unfriendly staff you can imagine. I have been here 10-15 times and usually have a good experience. However, recently they have new employees and it couldn't be worse. The woman behind the counter doesn't even smile at you, she doesn't want to serve you and they have 0 hospitality. For a place that is usually extremely quiet, you would think they are desperate for business but honestly they couldn't care less.
