La Table Matisse — Restaurant in Isle Mauritius

Usually I don’t post reviews but i had to share my experience for other people not to fall in this trap Me and my girlfriend went there for a romantic end of year dinner, we usually try gastronomic restaurants which is unknown to us. We found this place on the internet and This restaurant isn’t worth the price. Food wasn’t good at all , never tasted a pinacolada as disgusting. The bill came at Rs 3920 which seems reasonable for a fine dining restaurant, But wasn’t fine dining level at all, we didn’t ate anything and left for kfc which was way better. I had lamb shank (Rs 1350) which was too salty , the salmon also was very salty We usually try fine dining restaurants every weeks. We were sick after visiting that place. The atmosphere was good. Verdict: Upscale French restaurant. Food is fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Pocket friendly: burns a little hole. This place is expensive.

I went with my wife to grab a quick bite. We got the palm heart and prawns salad. It was fantastic. Very delicious and we ate the whole thing in no time. Also got some sparkling water and threw in a couple slices of lemon. These two things costed MRU 1030.

Charming and genuine welcoming staff, upmarket, chic bistro, spotlessly clean despite the rustic floor. Service was impeccably efficient and we were welcomed with a beautifully delicate amuse bouche, on the house. Food was beautifully presented, very tasty and portions were generous.
