We noticed this restaurant when walking past the end of the road at night. We asked to look at a menu, the food looked fine but no drinks prices. When I asked for a drinks menu I was told there was none. We asked how much the beer and wine was, it was reasonable so took a table outside. The place was very busy, with takeaways as well as diners and it took some time before our order was taken. Because of this we ordered starters and mains, making it clear the one dish was a shared starter. The shared Marlin salad was good but we were only about half way through it when the main courses arrived. Szechuan fish was OK as was the crispy chicken veg and rice. Rice was charged extra with the fish. We decided to try again the next night, but this time we did not order the main course until we had finished the starter. We had delicious dumplings to start. For mains we shared three dishes:a squid dish, garlic greens and fried noodles with pork, prawn and egg. All very enjoyable although once again it was difficult to get attention for drinks. When the bill came we noticed that the wine was charged at 175 rupees instead of the 150 we had paid, after enquiring first, the previous night. I went to the counter and explained, the bill was immediately amended with no apology or explanation. I can only assume that they charge what they like or think they can get away with. Would recommend for the food but not the service and take care to check the drinks prices.

To be short, i didn't have the greatest of an experience there. My points are below: 1. They tend to forget about the dine in customers inside the restaurant. People on the terrace and take away were having food before us. 2. My mate and I waited 1 hour for our food. The food was not worth the wait. The fried chicken was 3/4 bone and the meat was overcooked and bland. 3 poor shrimps on rice. I was lucky there was no roasted duck else i think the meal would be really dry. Gotta give points to the meal(beef sizzling) my mate took as for him it was good. Overall good outside deco. Dont eat dine inside. Take away.

One of our best dinners in Mauritius! A cozy Chinese restaurant, with a neat laconic interior. Service is at a high level 💞 Our waitress was very friendly and lovely. Prices are average, the same as in simple cafes around, the quality of food is really high! We paid only 29 euros for soup, starter and 2 main courses (curry crab and big shrimps - amazing!!! ), 1L water and beer! The food is very tasty! If you are in Mahebourg, visit this place!!!

Completely let down. Ordered takeway at 7.45pm and they advised it would be ready at 8.30pm. Went there but waited until 9pm to eventually get a fried rice and an aigre doux. It was a tofu fried rice but they seemed to have forgotten the tofu. The rice was just plain with barely anything in it. The aigre doux was overly sweet to the point where we could barely eat it. The place seems to have change ownership. It's a shame as it used to very good before. Also while waiting, we could see what looked like the owners/new managers sipping beers behind the counter. I wonder how they expect to run a business like this. No wonder they completely missed our order. Also, a plastic bag is Rs15 to carry your takeaways! They expect you to carry the flimsy takeaways with the sauces in bare hands it seems! A total...

The food was really disgusting as if it was not a chef who cooked but just put up together with the sauce by the waiter. The calamari was very difficult to chew like chewingum. The croustillant was fried in a dirty oil as small burn particles was still found on it.Futhermore i did not get the food i ordered, they add-on things on bill .The put out clients before they had finished up their meal.As i was for a birthday told them to put a birthday song but they said very arrogantly "pena sa ici mette lor zot portable pas pou cave faire nanier".Very bad service;Tasteless, cold food very small portion compare to other restaurant which is not value for money as we were around 15 persons and the bill came out big along with those we ordered but did not received.Very disatisfied ,do not recommend anyone...
