A Tale of Two Lunches at THE LEAF Restaurant, Royal Green
I recently had the pleasure of dining at THE LEAF Restaurant at Royal Green on two separate occasions for lunch, and I would like to share my contrasting experiences.
First Visit: The initial visit left a positive impression with fantastic starters and a main course that lived up to expectations. However, there was a slight hiccup when I requested fresh pepper for my steak, and unfortunately, the restaurant did not have a peppermill. Despite this, the waitstaff demonstrated professionalism, and the beverages complemented the meal nicely.
Second Visit: My second lunch experience at THE LEAF was an absolute delight. The starters were excellent, the main course was perfect, and the creme brulee dessert was truly awesome. The cocktail I ordered was a showstopper – a perfect blend that left a lasting impression.
While the service was generally professional, there was a momentary lapse when a new assistant waiter, possibly from Madagascar, took charge. Although he tried his best, there were instances of removing plates prematurely and placing dessert cutlery before clearing the main course dishes. This detracted from an otherwise enjoyable meal, and I contemplated leaving due to the lapse in professionalism.
On a positive note, the main waiter and the Cook Chef were consistently professional. The freshness of the dishes was evident, and the overall value for money made the dining experience worthwhile.
In conclusion, THE LEAF Restaurant at Royal Green offers a culinary journey that balances highs and lows. With attentive and professional staff, coupled with the freshness of the dishes, it remains a notable dining option.

Nevertheless, it's still something situated within the premises of a clinic/hotel so whether you want to have a night out at a place that also accommodates patients on other floors, it's debatable but not my personal preference.
Service is excellent, staff are very kind and helpful. Plating is good except for the unnecessary paprika sprinkled on one of the plates that almost made it look dirty. Food is just ok. Most of it begged for a much better seasoning. Seafood gratin was served unsalted - no, it wasn't for a patient.
So anyway, while the place looked nice inside, staff very good, i do not think...

I had a food allergy although I took a meal without crustaceans and had to return my plate and couldn't eat anything after this.🥴 Too hot, the air-conditioning was turned off Need more communication...
