Sato Aguascalientes — Restaurant in Aguascalientes

Overpriced, while the food is nothing special at all. There are much tastier options around the city at lower prices.

But the prices are not the only problem with this place. The lack of organization between the waiters and the kitchen staff is abismal. We ordered 3 dishes for 3 people, and one dish arrived approximately when the other 2 people on the table were finishing theirs.

And finally, I didn’t appreciate the area for waiting for a table. It is just outside next to the entrance, but on a windy day it’s no place you want to sit and wait for a table. The bar is also outside, so you don’t really have a closed place where you can sit and order a drink while you wait...

Sato was one place that we always looked forward to visiting any time we were visiting Aguascalientes. But unfortunately the restaurant lost all its quality. Food was bland, fish didn't taste fresh, and portions had been reduced. On top of all that, the waiters are trained to push expensive dishes and drinks on you, regardless of whether you would like or not. Be aware here! Ask for the menu and don't take any recommendations from any employee. I will drive all the way to León location before I come back to eat here again. The sushi and service was very good. Fish portions were generous (see photos) and priced very fairly. The nigiri sushi was extremely tasty, not fishy, and seemed fresh. (All tasted as each should and fish was not mushy or suffering the effects of being previously frozen) The restaurant was clean and I was not worried about eating raw fish at this establishment. (I have and will walk out of a restaurant after looking around) The only knock i can give the staff at Soto is for the 'sake upsell.' - My advice to you is to make sure you know what you are paying for anything not specifically listed...
