Coraluz was a real gem. One of the fine dining options within the Four Seasons Cabo del Sol, this restaurant serves Baja Mexican cuisine on the oceanfront in a relaxing beach lounge style. The walk down to Coraluz is beautiful in itself, but once seated, you get a true appreciation for beach front dining. The open air with wood-style chairs and bohemian furniture give it an almost retro-feel. We would recommend this as a great dinner option to watch the sunset over the ocean. As expected, the service is excellent. The servers are knowledgeable of the menu, some of the cultural elements incorporated and what works well for your individual tastes. The sommelier did a great job pairing wine to our individual meal choices as well. The food was absolutely stellar. The queso was an unexpected big hit for the table, with bold flavours abound, we would recommend asking for additional tortillas to make sure you have enough to finish it. The seafood dish was lovely, most especially the soft-shell crab was perfectly cooked. The steak was also cooked exactly as requested and the flavours in the prawns were top-notch. Of course, churros to finish the meal were simple and perfect to wrap up the meal. Accompanied with chocolate and dulce de leche, they were light, crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We highly recommend this restaurant, whether staying at the Four Seasons or not, this was a wonderful evening dining experience!
