Supposed to be the Seaside seafood restaurant at Hacienda del Mar resort -- great location right on beach, but failed terribly. Later learned that the dedicated kitchen for restaurant closed a year ago. There was no sushi or fresh fish dishes and everything was from a stripped down menu from other pool side snack bar/restaurants at resort. Fish tacos were fried fish. The cerviche was prepared strangely- the pieces of fish were very large so were raw in middle & didn't have fresh onions /cilantro, etc mixed into dish to give more flavor. The steak tacos were good but the Taco restaurant up by main lobby was much better.
The service was terrible, the waiter would disappear for long periods of time and was not attentive at all. He got us our drinks and order in and then After 40+ mins he finally brought some of dishes and walked away. We had no silverware or condiments yet. He then returned and realized he messed up and didn't put in one of steak tacos order in. We waited another 30+ minutes -- while he was nowhere to be seen. I know they were putting the orders up at the main resort/room service kitchen, so had to walk up there to pickup, but the manager just sat at the bar doing nothing. I had to go up to him and ask for silverware and napkins to get...

Tortugas Bar is a food and beverage option at the Hacienda Del Mar resort in Cabo San Lucas. A renovation has really improved the ambiance there. Beach side location, outside dining, great view and ocean breezes. We had lunch there during a recent stay. Service was great (Emir our waiter) and the food was delicious (Carlos the chef). Such a relaxing spot for lunch, a must do if you’re in the area! Highly recommend!

The spring rolls (2), were fresh, tasty, and refreshing. The ceviche was the right amount of salty and sour. We also ordered guacamole for the table and it was fresh, chunky, and wonderful. I plan to return here again for my remaining two lunches. Wow! My mouth is actually watering as I write this.
Ther service was also fantastic. Very friendly, attentive,...
