This is a wow place in Todo Santos, MX. Over the top 5/5 experience.
Ambiance is perfection. Nestled below numerous palm trees, the restaurant is very natural in the presentation. The tables are even wood from tree trunks and most tables have their own private deck or area. You aren't right next to the next guests, so it's very peaceful and quiet. The idea is that you and your guests have rented a private venue and can focus on each other and great food in nature.
The staff was incredibly attentive and they served the courses perfectly for how we ate. We had a short amount of time from when they cleared one plate to bringing the next course to allow us to enjoy our conversation and the food. We were there 1.5 hours, but skipped the pre meal cocktail and post meal digestive/coffee. They took their time to explain the dishes and the presentation was of course perfection. We had a waitress and her "helper" who was also there to bring the plates and explain them.
Menu: We very much enjoyed the 5 course meal. The 7 course adds the second appetizer (instead of choosing just one) and adds the second dessert. We thought the 5 was plenty for how hungry we were. Of course, we had the bonus appetizer, homemade bread and bonus dessert (yum). You can see my photo of the menu (though I'm sure this chef will change it often), everything was honestly delightful. The rabbit with mole paired with truffle and foie gras was quite a combination. The chef is French so he brings many of his wines/styles to the Mexican food - unique and wonderful combination. You do need a car or hire a driver to get to the property because it's on a dirt road, but I promise it's worth getting off the beaten path.
5 course was around $95 USD and the wine pairing is 800/1200 for 3/5 pairings. We opted for a glass and a cocktail as we...

Every once in a while, a meal crosses that invisible line between exceptional and transformative. DUM isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a full-body experience that reminds you why we travel, why we gather, and why food matters.
From the moment we arrived, the entire team radiated warmth and quiet precision. The open-air setting felt both intimate and wild — palms rustling, candles flickering, and that unmistakable Baja night sky overhead.
The oysters were pure alchemy — ocean-cold, perfectly dressed, and alive with freshness that sets the tone for everything that follows. Each dish unfolded like a story: layers of smoke, salt, citrus, and creativity — a dialogue between the land, sea, and the people who know both intimately.
Our sommelier was nothing short of inspired — pairing each course with wines that didn’t just match the flavors, but completed them. The service had that rare rhythm of grace and confidence: present when needed, invisible when not.
To anyone wondering whether DUM lives up to the hype — it doesn’t. It surpasses it. This is not a place for cynics, critics, or those looking to rush through dinner. It’s a place for people who understand that a truly great meal can rearrange your sense of time.
If you come here, come ready to be moved — by the food, by the people, by the quiet perfection of a night you’ll...
Read moreWow. This place left us speechless. I’d been to Todos Santos a few times before and had no idea this place existed. It’s literally down the street from the center of town. Dūm sits in the middle of a beautiful oasis. You’re greeted by a lovely staff who happily assists you to your table. Dūm is a small and intimate place with only nine tables. We sat close the little open air bar near the entrance. It was beautiful. Besides the esthetic, Palm trees, vibes and more… it’s the menu we were speechless of. My family and I enjoyed both the Nueva Luna y Luna Llena menus (5 and 7 courses) plus we tried some of their specialty cocktails. Dish after dish our minds were blown. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. I highly recommend you exploring the menu -...
