The place is beautiful, it has a really special character and they have created a beautiful atmosphere. However
foodwise, I found shortcomings in a couple of Mexican cuisine basics. We ordered the salbutes and the motuleños (both dishes from the YucatĂĄn peninsula, far far away from Baja). I don’t know if the chef is not very much familiar with Mexican cuisine or if something just failed in this particular occasion, but the red sauce in the motuleños and the salbutes was totally off. It tasted more like a creamy European tomato soup (sweet and totally spiceless). But the salbutes were half covered in green sauce too, which was fine. They also provided a spicy salsa on the side which was very nice too. But the actual red salsa in both dishes was light years away from a proper Mexican red sauce. The dishes are beautifully presented and the service is great. I was just very disappointed that something as basic as the salsa roja would be so off. They are probably trying to make it “tourist-friendly”, but there are many other ways to do that without having to compromise the actual dish profile! The coffee was not very nice either (I ordered a flat white), it tasted like the espresso machine was not properly dialed in (or maybe they just use beans with a very unusual flavor profile). I still think it’s worth the visit! Maybe just order something less complex (toast, sandwich, etc).

Super cute ambiance, but there’s a lot of room for improvement. I ordered the avocado toast because it was basically the only vegan-friendly option on the menu. It cost 190 pesos (more than $10 USD) and was literally ONE SLICE of bread. I was very shocked by the portion size and had to order another one. When I placed the second order, I also ordered a carajillo, and my husband ordered a margarita. The toast arrived, but the drinks never did, so we reminded our server. I finished eating the toast, but the drinks still hadn’t arrived. We waited another 5 minutes before walking to the bar and canceling the drink order. Overall, the place is cute, but spending 380 pesos on two slices of bread with a little avocado is outrageous. Not being able to enjoy our meal with the drinks we ordered was disappointing. Finally, and I almost forgot this part
one of the servers came over to our table to tell us that another table wanted the fan by us. We were enjoying the fan, which was why we chose to sit at that table. It was weird that he wanted to unplug it from us and bring it to another table

Amazing place. The vibe is impossible to describe. Like a magical garden playing 70s/80s soft rock with great coffee and food. Coffee was great, avocado toast was bomb (great sourdough!) and Motuleños style eggs super tasty. Internet is fast and it is a great place to hang out. Totally recommended! Only thing is that I ordered a croissant for dessert and it was not fresh. I could tell it had been defrosted. The bartender had told me that they had not received the batch of the day and I think they made an effort to give me one. Not a biggie but I would double check they have gotten the pastry batch of the day

Incredible ! Their Huevos Motuleno from the YucatĂĄn may be the best thing I’ve ever tasted! It is outstanding
.eggs covered with delicious thin, crispy tortillas, ham, avocado, plantains, peas, radish slices and amazing red salsa. But how can I compare? Their pork torta in axiota sauce on a mouth watering delicate, fine homemade bun with guacamole, smoked pineapple and habanero sauce was a treat beyond compare until now. Oh yes, then there was the breakfast croissant right out of the oven.. why would anyone go anywhere else? This is beyond perfection❀. The setting is sublime
the servers are kind and welcoming and I may...
