Very disappointed. The menu wasn’t that healthy - more meat options than vegetarian or vegan. Only dairy yoghurt is used for smoothies, no vegan alternative offered. The pancakes and waffles weren’t gluten free for instance. I had the nomada quesadillas which were just okay - for the same price I could get better and more elsewhere. I also went for a smoothie bowl which was very liquid: typically a smoothie served in a bowl needs to have more consistency and concentration than the drinking version. The worst of my experience was the service. I waited so long for my order, and saw a couple of tables with clients who arrived at the same time or later finishing their plates - there were only 4 tables with clients so the place wasn’t that busy. When I asked about my quesadillas, the manager rudely replied “I sent you your quesadilla” as if I ate it or hid it. She also seems to be quite rude with the staff. Obviously they had forgotten about my order, so I got it quickly after that. My smoothie bowl was served in a flat plate… while the bill came in a nice bowl that could have been perfect for the smoothie. The setting is nice. No beach view but a beautiful shaded garden. If you’d go just for that, think twice. I wouldn’t come back.

Don’t let the busy menu put you off. Nomads is one of the best restaurants we have been to after a couple of months in Baja (to be fair we have been off road the either time). The restaurant is set off the main road with a beautiful cactus garden blocking the view of the parking lot, making for a very quiet atmosphere. The food is outstanding, we really enjoyed the vegetarian sandwich. Vegetarian and vegan options abound and the food is even better than the pictures!

Highly recommend — great ambiance + wine. Each rental option has beautiful architecture and design of a different country. My favorite is India. A lot of food options from Thai to Italian. Pasta, pizza, salads, fresh fish. Visited here a few times during my four month stay. Brought a couple groups of friends. Vegetarian options available. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They went above and beyond for our groups each time. 10/10 recommend.

Oh my my, I used to love this place. The food is actually very good the service is abysmal. Could actually not purchase a glass of white wine even though there was many bottles in there fridge they are only for sale by the bottle. Several people walked in after us and were served first, if you speak Espanol you get priority no question!! My espanol is not perfect but I noticed she never asked for clarification on anything I asked for or ordered she understood perfectly. Not sure if the house staff will change ..management is absent...great idea, nice surroundings ... Impossible for them to execute on...

I do not get why the ratings are so high here. Granted our server was very friendly and the location is nice, we were very disappointed with the rest of the experience. They brought two coffee’s that we didn’t order but we where still charged. The latte we ordered took forever (while the restaurant was almost empty) and was luke warm when it arrived. We ordered a smoothie bowl but it was mango syrup blended with tons of ice and some fruit on top. It was literally the worst smoothie bowl I have ever had. Very disappointing and we came here on a...
