Restaurant Triny’s (Campestre) — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

Best restaurant i have had in Los Barriles got the carne asada and it was amazing. What also matters is that all the little sides were really good. Service was fast and friendly, ice cold beers and you can pay with card. I am mexican trying to visit every state in Mexico, this (BCS) is my 8th state and i can honestly say one of my favorites so far but the main disappointment for me has been the food the food in Baja Sur is really pricey and honestly it has not been very good. Service was a joke, asked us if we wanted anything to drink in which we said no, just water. He comes back with bottled water which we ask, does this cost anything, THIS one does. Apparently you have to ask for the free water and not the 80 peso water I could buy at the super market for 15. Servers would stare from afar and laugh at us as they mutter to each other. Food was not bad at all, I feel bad for the cooks. Server also could not count, was missing over 100 pesos when they brought back the change and took them multiple times to correct said mistake. The fish and creamy habeneros sauce (very mild, not spicy hot) is perfection. Had it last year and was looking forward to having it again this year. It is so delicious and whoever is cooking the fish is a master chef!! Bravo! My favorite meal in Mexico is at this restaurant cuz of the way the food is prepared.
