Since the President of Mexico banned Monsanto yet some traces of glyphosate were found in corn in Oaxaca two years ago, I can pretty accurately trust the corn tortillas in Mexico are nonGMO at this moment. I found that for a vegan, just asking for guacamole and black beans (hold the queso) is perfect for then going to the full salsa bar which is the best in Los Barriles and maybe best even all the way through Cabo in my opinion. Please hold off on the shrimp though since we know now the harvesting kills so senselessly other marine life caught in the scraping of the large claw nets... I think the LB restaurants will need to provide organic cheese or cheese from local cows who are not fed GMO feed. But like I said the President seems to have gotten Monsanto out of mainstream. When the plate came it was kind of bare, just the omelette and a puddle of beans, until the proprietor directed us to the most impressive salsa and toppings bar we have ever seen! A mouth-watering array of sauces and vegetables to fill your plate and the tortillas that come with the meal. Besides the chorizo omelette was just spectacular. We were both so happy and stuffed.
